A few impressions on the gig:
- Noel and band in absolute great form
- short gig, I know they cut most of parts between songs but it's less than 1 and a half hour
- WGGTITE sounds so good live. I wonder why he chose that tune from all the new ones but it sounded great
- best version I've heard of ITHOTM. The girls gave so much more layers with their backing vocals and I don't mean just the nanana's. Noel sounded awesome as well.
- Going Nowhere sounds great and I loved the drumming at the end.
- I've said a few times I'm not a fan of the current setlist but my main concern is too many acoustic songs. It's undeniable that when Noel gets his guitar for In The Heat, What a Life or LBL the whole thing feels much more exciting.
- Gem's guitar was too low and lacking distorcion imo. It should shine way more to compensate Noel's acoustic guitar.
- Quite epic the end with the crowd singing the whole DLBIA.
Can't wait to hear if Noel comes to South America next year

Finally was able to watch it. Great gig, the crowd was great. The Crystal Palace gig I attended was also very good but clearly Manchester is something else

Is a lot about how he chooses to perform those songs as well. IMO Pretty Boy is begging for a full electric version as many other tunes could use more power live. Many tunes have the same structure as LBL:Acoustic guitar throughout the verses with an electric for chrous and solo. But by playing fully electric live he manages to play it faster with a whole lotta kick in it. He could do that that to Council Skies, Where Gonna Get There and many other. Hell, he learned how to mix acoustic with electric guitar only in the fi Al days of Oasis |

seems the streaming is implementing latest DRM protection, digging through some tech rubbit hole but yt-dlp hasnt come up a good solution yet. But we got 2 years FINALLY!! YAHHH Merry Xmas How should it count, can i share the m4a? edit: If someone has a fair amount of knowledge on command line/github, you can dm me for the decryption key. Normally, the key wont last long though? |
