Unless the ‘tour’ is touring new Oasis material from a new album then I am completely uninterested. I already have Liam touring oasis material. Having a disinterested Noel standing on his left shoulder would make no difference to me. Give me a new album with the trademark oasis sound to go with a tour however and I’m weak at the knees

This isn't a thread about if we agree or disagree that they should reform or not. The fact is that they 100% will because the payout of a reunion tour for Def Maybe and WTSMGs 30th anniversaries are impossible to financially to pass up on and Noel is already trending in that direction with his recent comments which has opened the door for discussions between the 2 Brothers. Money talks my friends... The timeline didn't make sense over the last few years but now the 30th Anniversary is around the corner and only an idiot would pass up on the offers that will be presented. The question is not if or when but how many shows they will do. Will they tour the world or just do a series of Massive UK dates... Time will tell... but I no longer have any doubts that there will be an Oasis DM /WTSMG 30th Anniversary reunion tour or gigs if you like it or not or agree or not. Noel also said he had that stadium rock album in his pocket.
I think there is a possibility for a record, especially with Noel shutting down his studio. I mean why do that if it's only gigs, wouldn't stop him working would it?

Oasis could easily sell out Knebworth 10 times if they get back together. Easily. Wembley and Manchester x 10 seems a bit random to be the only nights.
I hope it is them reforming, rather than just flogging WTSMG.
Makes me laugh that they clearly scrapped the barrel of the last WTSMG reissues so Noel has nothing left to sell but an Oasis reunion

Started on reddit, some guy claiming he knows someone who's in the industry, well connected, trusted source etc etc. I don't put much stock in someone on reddit but I do think a reunion is coming regardless of rumours. It's just too good an opportunity for either brother to pass up and it's basically now or never. Both have cleared the decks for next year when in fact follow up solo albums were expected. Instead, nothing scheduled. That can't be a coincidence. |

There’s also rumours that Coldplay are doing 10 nights at Wembley next year so i hope the sources aren’t confusing the two…either way let’s see! Trying to not get my hopes up too much

There are a LOT of reliable people on here who are saying it is on. I ignored the TikTok and the Reddit post as nonsense. Happens every year, rumours of a reunion because 'sources say their relationship has thawed'. However, the sheer number of people who have said it is happening leads me to believe that it is. |

I took a look at Noel’s tour list. He’s gonna headline 5k capacity UK festivals this year, yikes... Cannot imagine an ambitious man like Noel being happy with that. Plus divorce expenses etc. Yeah the reunion is happening imo. Not very soon but in few years If it’s true, call me Nostradamus 😘 |

Trying to not get my hopes up too much Wembley has a limited licence. If someone is doing 10, that'll leave likely 3 - 5 left max for everything else gig wise. Wouldn't surprise me if Coldplay went after Taylor Swift's record though. I said this on reddit and i'll say it again, Oasis won't be playing 10 nights at Wembley Stadium on this tour. They won't be playing 10 nights in Manchester either. The tickets will be £130 + for standing, higher for Level One seating. The "20" gigs will be spread across London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff plus pick from Sunderland, Liverpool, Newcastle, Coventry, Birmingham, Southampton and maybe Bristol. Oasis have always toured the UK, they'll continue that IMO. This maybe unpopular, but I'm wondering if Liam has been laying the ground work for this for the last 2 years. Knebworth in 2022, shows the place is still capable of hosting super gigs and the DM30 gigs could be scaled up to Stadium level in every City. |
