Awful news. You only need to listen to If I Had A Gun once to know he adored her. Hope they're all well. Not just that one, all those songs about that elusive godess, like "Girl with X ray eyes". And she's even on the cover of WBTM.
Sad news, but also slightly odd timing to announce/confirm it today, when on monday he apparently starts his album campaign. Maybe they were warned that it was about to leak?

Sad situation for their kids.
Somehow I kind of saw it coming. As others said the way he spoke about her felt a bit forced sometimes, almost like he was trying to fool himself.
Also if they have been separated for some months now it makes sense that he seemed less bitter in recent interviews.

in all seriousness ....In UK if its a proper split she will get at least half if not more of his money so lets say hes got 60 million . he has to give her 30 million plus ....with noel seems to be a money man he will be bitter and will want to get as much mooney as he can back imo how does he do that.......... There is an option of selling the rights to the oasis music. But I kinda got the feeling he’s reluctant to do that. Imo the reunion is more likely. Not this year of course, not the next one but maybe after that I'm sure he'd be able to get by on £30m |

Am I the only one who didn't see any link between this divorce and Oasis? Just feeling sad for the kids and hope there will be better times for them in the future! Must be horrible to see your parents fight and split. The law of averages (as 50 per cent of couples who marry divorce) indicate that half of us have been through it including Noel, Paul and Liam as children-teens. And it does, indeed, suck. I know Noel's quite open with interviews, nothing's generally off limits but I hope fucking idiot journalists don't turn this album cycle into endless divorce- reunion speculation. Let's face it we've seen it already break out in this short thread and, while I understand why fan's minds immediately go there, it's not helpful IMO. It also wouldn't come as a shock if, as Noel hasn't been as visible in the UK since the drop of Pretty Boy, whether he will scale back the amount of interviews he does this time around. Time will tell. Think he will benefit from the fact it isn't 1996 any more. It will be briefly mentioned in articles to fill space, but UNLESS Sara starts spilling gossip about it - tehy won't dive any deeper into it. The fact they have kids together will probably stop that from happening. Liam was very lucky that Gene is obviously are the forefront of Nicole's thoughts because she would have fucking ruined him publicly after what he did. Hopefully this has all been done far more amicably. I don't think any break up is truly amicable but for the sake of less drama i hope they stick to that story. |

I dunno if this means anything, but I just heard Noel on Radio 2. Jokes made about the weather and he sings 'sunshiiiiiiine' obv in Liam's voice. That was a wtf moment but a nice one.

What does it mean in terms of the band? Probably nothing. It might mean something in terms of the back catalogue if Noel has a little more time.
I can only it seeing having an affect with him and Liam their has a little more influence now. But I find it unlikely.

Yeah I wrote about it in one of my previous posts, it’s one of his options I just think it’s possible but unlikely if it makes sense. It’s one time cash out with losing almost all (or just big part? Idk) of his future revenues from the Oasis back catalogue, and they not gonna make hundreds of millions offer. He needs to be sensible with money this maybe not his last divorce lol Just my gut feeling that he doesn’t want to do it, maybe I’m wrong. It depends on his finances |
