Was at both - Maine road was the better gig by a country mile but knebworth was the better event, helped by an unbelievable set of support acts

One was a gig and one was an event you could say.

One was a gig and one was an event you could say. sums it up perfectly. Watching the Knebworth documentary for the first time this weekend, there were people on the side of stage on the right who probably saw nothing but a pole or security guards ah, festivals. Shit sound, no view, good memories But tickets were cheap, amazing.

I think Wonderwall from Knebworth is better than Maine Road. Apart from that it's easily Maine Road. Earls Court beats both for me though. Isn't as rushed, and everyone is on form. I tend to enjoy that 2000-2002 period where Andy and Gem are on board and Liam's still got a great voice. Obviously isn't the original Oasis sound but it gives new life to a lot of songs.
I'm glad it's not just me that likes 2000-2002.
After reading the thread, I was thinking I might be asked to leave if I mentioned that

After reading the thread, I was thinking I might be asked to leave if I mentioned that Yeah SOTSOG and HC gigs were quality. Energy, new sound (clearer and more technical), it was a different Oasis. DBTT tour was a bit shit.

After reading the thread, I was thinking I might be asked to leave if I mentioned that Brotherly Love and Noise and Confusion tours might be the best they ever sounded. Barrowlands, Greek Theatre and Fiddlers Green are ace.
