They will sing „God save the king“ now prior to losing the 1/8 final in the World Cup this year

As an American, I found her covid speech to be very comforting. It came at just the right time as everybody was in panic mode.

I'm not a royalist at all but this is such a surreal feeling, it's one of those things you always knew deep down would come but felt like it never would

I don't want to be disrespectful, but it's pretty damn silly if they postpone the Premier League fixtures for this. Mourn in moderation.

I'm not a royalist or whatever you would call people who support monarchy, but as a woman myself, I respect her and her life long service to her country.
Rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Headmaster at my ‘preparatory school’ in London knew the Queen and tutored both Prince Harry and Prince William, amongst the others. I loved that school, I loved CTR. And he personally knew the Queen and the Royals. This is absolutely true. Legends. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Trevor-Roberts

She pretended her two heavily disabled cousins were dead so they could be hidden away with no family contact or financial support, abandoned until they died alone in a home that was later shut down for patient abuse. No-one but the staff attended the funeral. Their graves were marked with plastic tags. Now, I may not be a royalist, but, etc.

It’s a good job she raided public funds to get her nonce son off his trial when she did. Otherwise, he might have had to answer for his crimes like some kind of peasant.

And now we have to tolerate her ruddy-faced dope of a son lording it over us.
That’s the real tragedy here, that this racket will be allowed to continue probably for the rest of our lives. That is her only legacy, that she somehow managed to prolong this farcical medieval freak show long after it should have ceased to be.
Me, I’d rather die a nobody and be swiftly forgotten about than have lived her life. She did no good whatsoever. She wasted her life, clinging onto privileges and luxuries she didn’t earn and didn’t deserve.

What an amazing woman. I think favourite memory of her will be when she used £12 million of tax payers money to pay off one of her paedophile son's victims. Makes you so proud to be British.

no matter what one's thoughts on the monarchy are; she was a remarkable woman. Agreed. For me, one of the most remarkable things she did was personally encourage a violent crackdown on independence movements in Yemen, leading to a campaign that killed thousands upon thousands of people, including many who were castrated with pliers, women who were gang-raped under threat of torture, and people who had their heads smashed in with clubs until their brains broke. These events were never apologised for or even acknowledged by Lizzie, who instead oversaw "Project Legacy", a series of publicity and PR runs designed to whitewash the Royal relationship with the middle-east forever. Truly, that level of utter and inhuman vileness is remarkable.
