This is the definitive version of Too Good for Giving Up, for me ... never liked the vocals on the album versions.
And the Lennon cover is brilliant!

Great cover of I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier indeed.

The Lennon cover is ok but it's not something I'll listen to a lot. As for this live version of You're Too Good For Giving Up is so much better than the album version.

I'm an Apple Music subscriber in the States and this session is not available for me to stream.
Anyone else in the US having success with the official stream?

The reason the vocals are off on the album version is because Wyatt seemed to avoid putting any reverb on his voice so it's really dry in the mix. No idea why.

For me it's one of Liamβs worst songs. I don't hate it I just think it would've been better off the album altogether.

Pretty interesting that he says in the interview he does not like his newest album so much cause there are not enough guitars on it, but he thinks the next one will have it. Another indication that there could have been a deal with his record label and the songwriters and Liam having not had much creative influence on the style of the record.
