After the success of Knebworth last year and with the Be Here Now anniversary coming up. I think we may get a live album/DVD and Blu Ray this year from the Be Here Now tour (most likely GMEX 1997 or another 1997 show). The only reason I think this is that we've already got the Mystique demos and there is HD footage of GMEX (see Chasing The Sun trailer) and it's a great show ( Don't Go Away being a highlight). What does everyone else think?

I don't see it happening, especially since Noel still hates this era. Remember, Maine Road was Oasis' crowning moment before Knebworth, and all it got was some shirts and stickers. I'd imagine something like a reprint of some shirts they or some tacky items.

I mean it was just wishful thinking, but i would really like another live album from the 90s but i also think we're probably not going to get another live album for a long time

No, I doubt it very much that we'll get anything. I think the 25th anniversary release will be the same as the Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory ones. That's of course if we get anything for the Be Here Now one with Noel hating the album so much.

Even if they did officially release those at least the picture quality would be better than the bootleg copies floating about.

Earls Court 3rd Night would be high on my list Gmex both nights Globe Arena If I had to pick any live albums to get released they would be: Gmex 1997 Oslo 1997 But if we do get another live album it would probably be a UK gig like Gmex or Earls Court

I think it is very necessary. I basically think the same. The truth is that we have bit or nothing of the Be Here Now tour, and the 25th anniversary seems like a good opportunity, however I also think that it is very soon, maybe in 5 years for the 30th anniversary, or at least it would be good if the uploaded as official bootlegs to streaming platforms, but above all I think that all that happens only if the fans really wanting it, because a certain gig from 2004 also sounds a lot out there, which I really don't like very much.

Another point to clarify is that Noel hates the album, but not the tour, on the oasis youtube channel there is an interview where he says that despite what he thinks about the album, he remembers the tour with good things, so for that minimum detail, it is not an absolute no.

Personally, as unlikely as it is that we get a live album, theres too much high quality footage and audio from that tour in the vaults that something may get put out and Knebworth's success shows there's a market for Oasis live stuff, though that may differ depending on what's released.

That's why the best they could put out, more than another live album from a gig or festival, is a "best of the be here now tour", if it's good enough (which it can be) it could have very good review and critics, so... good sellings, that is to say, the be here now tour also has songs from the first years, and with it better versions that the studio versions of the be here now album

Also Regarding Earls Court 1997 what happened to the audio line ?
Why did they use a complete different gig (Newyork) and go to all that effort to overdub another gig
did they cock the multi tracks up at Earls court ?

That’s possible but I don’t have much hope 😒 They can easily do it tho, no risks, there is demand, they have a lot of material

Above all else, I want a version of BHN releasing that isn’t strangled by shitty production.

Th No idea what happened, but I have the Earls Court video with the correct audio over the top of it (the audience recording), but it looks much better

Interesting Question regarding Air Studios It's been rumored the whole Be Here Now Album was played from start to finish.... When they did that TV special to promote Don't Believe The Truth I think they mimed/played the whole album too but only a couple of clips have emerged. Can't recall the name of the show but it had a red background/stage set.
