I can genuinely say I’m more excited about this than any other music show in .. a long time. This old Oasis fan from the very early years (late 94) is very happy.

Robert Harvey will be fronting them, not sure if that’s a good thing; I know nothing about him. Ah that’s good; I really liked The Music back in the day. Albeit they’re a nightmare to search for on Google!  Liked me their debut album back in the day and his voice could fit the Kasabian stuff aswell. Interesting. igotflair cheers for the info!  |

Would love to have experienced Knebworth but can also imagine the experience will be pretty shit - middle of nowhere, limited accommodation, etc. Not sure if I'll go but fair play to Liam for doing it. Was hoping for a stadium tour over the summer.

You're making it sound like Liam Gallagher in 2021 is a youth revolution when the vast majority of the audience go see him for Oasis songs. Knebworth is about history, prestige and spectacle. It's entirely about dinosaurs because except for Oasis, everyone else who's headlined Knebworth has been a long established mega band. Get some decent bands on the bill that'll make it an event with songs people can jump too and sing along with their mates. Deciding what Knebworth is about is well above your pay grade. It's good to be on the payroll. |

This is incredible. I think now this solidifies Liam's comeback as one of the greatest of all time.
I also think deep down Noel would be in disbelief that Liam's got to this stage, perhaps even jealous and bitter about it not that he would ever admit it.
I hope they add Richard Ashcroft to the line-up. He's the only support act id really care about since Tom isn't with Kasabian anymore...
Is anyone going to fly from another country to attend?

What is the deal with the early access code. I bought the album online, they charged me and I didn't get anything, no email confirmation at all or a code.

As an American I probably won't be able to go. But if I were going I would much prefer the support be made up of acts that Oasis introduced me to that are probably never going to tour the US again, if they ever did. OTOH, part of the fun of opening acts is the discovery, so I wouldn't mind seeing people that are new to me. I think splitting it between the two would make sense.

I think its more of the whole covid restrictions for me at least. But to my knowledge, I don't think there's any so there's nothing to worry about regarding that. |

Always enjoyed to see Kasabian live but not sure how thats going now... If Serge would do all the songs it would just not sound well on loads of their songs but a new singer is maybe even worse. Robert Harvey will be fronting them, not sure if that’s a good thing; I know nothing about him. I’d be surprised by this - not that I’m doubting you. But The Music are playing their 20 year anniversary comeback gig 2 days before Knebworth. Thursday 2nd June in Leeds. It should have been this year but was postponed. He’ll be pushing his voice to the limit for that gig I’d imagine so seems ambitious to do a huge gig a few days later. I’ll be at The Music gig - cannot wait for it and the line up for me is better than Knebworth also…. The Cribs, Snuts and The Coral supporting The Music. I thought Serge would be taking over lead vocals for Kasabian. |

No rules currently prevent travel (although England is still listed as a high-Covid country, you do need a negative test to return, and of course things can change by next summer, though hopefully only for the better but nobody knows for sure). It just takes a good amount of money, freedom, time and ability to plan a big trip that far out and a lot of people don't have one or more of those. |

Lucky you. Even Noel is a step down from Oasis, i still enjoy his records and tours very much, and play them all the time, but it's not the same. Maybe HFB 1 was still a bit Oasis in the range of emotion. Noel's gigs are amazing for the music part, but they are not as "electric". Liam gigs, i don't know, never been to one. But Beady Eye gigs were a bit Oasisy. In a messy way. |
