with all the songs lying about that had been written (im assuming) in time for Dig out your soul - this could've been Oasis 3rd Masterpiece
Combining songs from Dig out your soul, NGHFB self titled and Different Gear still speeding 1. Everybody's on the Run (Liam sung) 2. The Turning 3. Falling Down 4. What a life (Liam sung) 5. I'm Outta Time 6. the shock of lightening 7. If i had a gun 8. Death of You and me 9. The roller 10. The Beat Goes on
Singles: If I Had a Gun, I'm Outta Time, The Shock of Lightening, Everybody's on the Run

This looks like what it is - a jumble of different sounds, eras, and records. The Death of You and Me on the same album as The Turning? No need for it. Just do the usual - swap High Horse Lady, Nature of Reality, and Ain't Got Nothin' for Come On Outside, The Boy With the Blues, and Record Machine - and you end up with a record with the same cohesive sound but a dramatically improved average song quality. If you want to design a great Oasis album with some of Noel's solo songs, just imagine Liam singing NGHFB.

I was sick of reading the same shite over and over - Boy with the blues is disgustingly overrated - I believe in all is much better.

I worded my original post wrong - took songs from DOYS DGSS and NGHFB self titled - regardless as to whether they were written at the time

I would put Stop the Clocks (different production) or Those Swollen Hand Blues at the end of the album with a couple of minutes of silence between Soldier On and whichever of the two would make it.

01 - Bag it Up 02 - The Turning 03 - Waiting for the Rapture 04 - The Shock of the Lightning 05 - I'm Outta Time 06 - Come On Outside 07 - Falling Down 08 - To Be Where There's Life 09 - Record Machine 10 - The Boy With the Blues 11 - Soldier On
All songs sang by Liam, except Rapture. If he could have hit the high notes, he'd be singing that too.

Out of all the these songs that never made DOYS or were never DOYS b-sides, excluding Come On Outside and Record Machine, only Soldier Boy and peeerhaps God Help Us all would fit the theme of the album so I don't think there's that much room to play around with the songs that were already written by that point.
From the final product, I think only Ain't Got Nothing is a bit of a black sheep because it sounds extremely like the little brother of The Meaning of Soul but I still think that the band got the overall feel of this album out of all of them the most.
I guess I would swap High Horse lady for Record Machine and Ain't Got Nothing for Come On Outside but I'm not sure of the order of the songs because the clever transitions are what made this album so great for me.

Yeah there's not too much wriggle room really regarding a cohesive album. I think we're all in agreement that a Liam sung 'Come On Outside' & 'Record Machine' should've made the album and 'GOYHHL', 'Ain't Got Nothin'' and 'The Nature of Reality' are the tracks to be dropped. And for the millionth time: 1. Bag It Up 2. The Turning 3. Waiting for the Rapture 4. The Shock of the Lightning 5. I'm Outta Time 6. Record Machine [Liam Vocals]7. Come On Outside [Liam Vocals]8. To Be Where There's Life 9. Falling Down 10. Soldier On

1) Falling Down 2) Falling Down (The Gibb Mix) 3) Falling Down (The Prodigy version) 4) Falling Down (demo) 5) Falling Down (album version with extended intro) 6) Falling Down(The Chemical Brothers Remix) 7) Falling Down (Amorphous Androgynous A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble remix)

Ha, ha ha, actually I wouldn't want an album full of Falling Down mixes no matter how much I love the song.

Id also like to hear a remix of BHN by the AA. I woukd love to have a good extended dance remix of Columbia Good call. I guess Columbia in its complete madchestry is in many ways composed like a dance tune anwyway and an ideal candidate for a befitting remix. However, I believe it's vice versa, Noel just took the yet unavailable remix and desized it to his own needs:

Columbia (The Reflex Revision) would be nice for a RSD release.
