I just watched Pretty Boy on you tube and my god it sucks big time .
I always skip it when playing the album.
Probably the worst HFB song and that is saying something as Noel has put out a lot of garbage since WBTM .

Great set - I think Noel should try playing electric on Pretty Boy so Gem can add the missing guitar line toward the end of the song, but it still sounded decent. Love Is A Rich Man was a lot of fun.

Dead In The Water was otherworldly. Just amazing. Whole show was very strong - only Love Will Tear Us Apart fell flat as it just doesn’t fit Noel’s voice (which has actually never sounded better).

Just finished watching, random thoughts:
- Pretty Boy, Love is A Rich Man and Open The Door are probably my worst 3 off the album but they all sound really good live and end up being fun numbers
- somewhere Noel said Council Skies was the sound of HFB now and I can see what he means, it seems to come naturally to the band
- Going Nowhere has been the most pleasant surprise of this era so far and it sounded great
Not sure it was intentional, but I loved how he just played it after Council Skies, with what those two songs mean it's almost as if they go full circle
- Dead in The Water to these days remains one of the best things he's written in the last 20 years, maybe one of the best things he's written full stop
Such a powerful tune and every performance of it is just fantastic
- Love Will Tear Us Apart just doesn't suit his voice, although I thought this performance was better than the Vernon Kay one
You can see it means a lot to him tho, and the arrangement is nice enough
- hard to say something about Live Forever, I don't like to compare and won't, I'm just happy we have such a wonderful version next to the original
He gave it a new life and you can feel all the emotions
- nice chat, never got the feeling Jools was a huge fan but Noel was quite relaxed, funny as always too

Pretty Boy sounds good but it would be much better with heavier guitars: he should ditch the acoustic and take up the 355 or a Les Paul instead, with a fat crunchy sound that would fit very well alongside Gem's Telecaster (who makes a pretty good Marr impression, in both playing style and tone).
Open the Door... such a great, joyous live tune! Even Love Is A Rich Man, which is my least favorite track on the record, sounds cool in a live set.
DITW and Live Forever were just magic.

Alright, just saw it on YouTube.
Pretty Boy sounds great as soon as the drums kick in ok the first chorus, gotta be great to hear it live! Although, as I said before, why the fuck is Noel playing it acoustically??
Love Is a Rich Man was a delight, great version! Can't wait till he includes it on the setlist!
Still missing Going Nowhere and Live Forever, anyone got a link?

Holy shit, I've missed the best part.
Going Nowhere was amazing. Great vibe, vocals and Gem is absolute class in it. So good to hear that 90's guitar sound from Oasis. Loved it.
And Live Forever. Oh man, what was that. Such a wonderful version and performance. Noel should be closing the gigs with it, that's the definitive Oasis song.
