Best of the luck for the surgery and wishing you a quick recovery! Thank you, that's sweet of you! That was part one when I took Noel along, I do have to go back to the hospital for part two, oh, day after tomorrow. But it should not be a big deal, hopefully, and I should be out after one or two nights max. To not get totally out of topic, music is magic, because both brothers helped to distract and cheer me up with their music, Noel now with this album, and this is absolutely priceless. Great timing, Noel!

You should buy a few more copies to try and get one, you donβt want people thinking youβre a casual fan. X Anyone who doesn't have the plectrum & Noel's signature $4,700 Gibson J-150 to go with it is a casual fan. I've got some signed Oasis/Noel and Liam stuff from before but I didn't get the plectrum and Noel's signature or the guitar. So that makes me casual fan then. π¬

It's #9 this week BTW. At least he's still in the top 10 which is good.

I mostly bought this album because I'm a faithful person, but I have to say, it has the nice side effect that I'm listening to NGHFB now more than I have in a long time and I enjoy it. I love "International Magic". As for casuals, I'm sure I'm the only one here who bought it on the way to the hospital for surgery! I had to, my preferred record shop did not have it on release day and as I was on sick leave afterwards I could not very well go shopping or to the post office, as I did not trust the postal service to bring it to me. So I took Noel along to the hospital which had the nice side effect of having something to look forward to after coming home. Also, it's a nice parallel, the last time I was in hospital, 4 years ago, Liam kept me sane with his "As you were" songs and shows. Be well, joladella. Glad you had a companion for a challenging time and hope you are on the mend.

Trying my best to keep it in the charts, just bought the RSD release for just under 27 pounds with local pickup. Quite a good deal I'd say.

Wondering where DM is going to be in September now.

My copy finally arrived. It's great to finally listen to the EP tracks on vinyl. A few thoughts: Sail On and While the Song Remains the same should be on there. Holy Mountain is shit EP songs sound WAY better. Noel's solo output easily equals 00's Oasis. We're on Our Way Now is great. I had found it quite underwhelming listening to it through laptop speakers. I can't say the same about Flying Off the Ground! It would have been better to have something else close the album.
Bring on Volume Two!

Is anyone else bummed that the bonus LP is half instrumentals? Is the well that dry?

Yeah... Four versions of Black Star Dancing is a bit much, even if the remixes are great.

Two, if that "Future of Martial Arts" album was real and contained anything we haven't heard before...

Is anyone else bummed that the bonus LP is half instrumentals? Is the well that dry? I didn't bother with the deluxe version for that reason.

Is anyone else bummed that the bonus LP is half instrumentals? Is the well that dry? YES!! I wasn't expecting more new songs but he could have easily fit all the EP's in there so they could be available on CD. I bought them all in MP3 and I hate that and I don't have a turntable so I'm not paying twice the price of a CD per EP for nothing. But I would have loved to have an actual physical copy. Other than International Magic and the stripped down acoustic versions of his older songs, that third CD is pretty much useless (but of course I bought it anyway ** Insert Owen Morris laugh **)...
