Aright we got a title everyone: Back The Way We Came Vol. 1 (2011-2021)Looks like it's going to be a compilation. Best of? B-sides? Remixes? Let's see. But if it's a greatest hits, it makes sense to put a new song out as the lead single from it. Black and yellow colored vinyl. Here's the link from Record Store Day Netherlands: recordstoreday.nl/album/back-the-way-we-came-vol-1-2011-2021-clrd/Amazing spot man. It says 1xLP. Hopefully that’s wrong, or the £40 price is wrong!! Interesting that it is “vol 1”, is there another compilation to follow? X |

This will be like the Neil Young compilation album Decade I expect. Best of album hopefully littered with rarities to keep the hard cores and casuals happy.

If I buy it, it’ll only be if there’s a significant amount of new or previously unreleased stuff on it. The volume I certainly indicates a compilation... Since there are not enough B-sides, I'm pretty sure a best of (more probably singles) is in order.
The big question is regarding the video. So, he filmed a video for a new song? Sounds fair, a new song in a compilation but Noel made it pretty clear he he hates that during the Stop The Clocks release. He said the new song takes the focus out of the rest or something along those lines.
So maybe this doesn't count if it's a song he already record it maybe?
Anyway, I really hope for at least some new material in this. But I am fully ready to be disappointed.

Actually, now that I'm looking at it, the name clearly states (2011-2021). I might be stretching a bit, but he wouldn't hurt his "no new song rule" if that tune was We're Gonna Get There In The End.
So the Singles + WGGTITE theory seems pretty plausauble. And the worst option IMO hahaha

Just guessing that’s a more likely default value, whereas the record label must have to recommend a retail price. £40 very unlikely to be a default. X |
