but today we were without: Campbell, Cole, Gilberto, Hleb, Ljungberg(after 36mins), Henry, Persie etc etc

but we do need to sell Pires...i'm serious on this one:
1.)he's getting old, around 31, 32 now
2.)never gets stuck in...for the last 2 years he NEVER TACKLES
3.)he hasnt scored in the prem yet
4.)he dives (yes i am an arsenal fan, but i will admit we have 1 diver, and he is that one)
5.)Reyes should be on the left, Reyes is NOT a striker
6.)Hleb is there too
^cant use 5 or 6 today cos of injuries but you get my point

if we bought Robinho/Owen AND Baptista, which looked likely at the time, we would be in fine shape now, with Baptista in CM and either Rob or Owen up front...missed chances, but what pisses me off is that Wenger didnt sign anyone, when he had 60million to spen!! its coming back to haunt us now...

expect 1-2 signings in January and a busy summer....if niether of the 2 happen, then Arsenal are back to the way it was before AW (mid table team)

AW is god, i appreciate what hes done since 96, abs. amazing stuff, amazing players, amazing stlye of football etc but he lost the plot this year...lets see if he can correct it...

if i had to pick a team to win the prem besides arsenal, i would pick Liverpool...Benitez has done no wrong, and imo, act deserves to win the league with the players he has, but, just like Newcastle, Liverpool also underachieve EVERY YEAR in the prem...
