I have made a list of Oasis gigs which were filmed from 1994-2009 it's pretty impressive what is sitting behind locked doors that's why i am hoping this Knebworth film does really well and Oasis and Management go down the same road as what the rolling stones have done with past gigs.
Live from the vault series sets the bench mark and shows you what is possible give the fans a great product and they will support it every time !

I think oasis management gave up after be here now a little bit. probably why we never saw knebworth (plus the documentary they shot) or gmex or the live album. they couldnt be bothered anymore once the hype died down. no excuse for the gigs after 2000 though |

First night of GMEX '97 is probably there as well. Maybe the 10 years of noise and confusion gigs are there too. |

Gmex was filmed and aired through MTV. I recorded it in VHS and even transferred into a cassette later. What a Time to be alive! Pre Internet era

a whole bunch of stuff was filmed on the be here now tour. they clearly planned on releasing a documentary or video release, same as with knebworth, but then they just never bothered. you can see it here in the ituhns video:
looks like they had all of it edited and ready to release, like the knebworth clips they have given us. then they went into the vault and took bits from it years later to use on the youtube channel. there must be so much stuff they are sitting on. for example i believe the audio in that itunes video is actually from the 1996 live album they also didnt bother releasing
i know all of us have seen that acquiesce video at some point but worth revisiting because there is a lot of cool footage in there from that time period. almost seems like they had a "lord dont slow me down" style documentary in the works
also i hope they dont use the earls court style editing they were using around this time for the upcoming knebworth release. where it's interspersed with random shots of shit. from the champagne supernova clip we have we know they planned to use that editing style and they obviously already finished it ready for a release. hope they have re-done it and cut that shit out

This is not the film that was made then. (That said, the footage they have is the footage they have so of course you will have seen some it.) |

I've always loved the Acquiesce video from the Gmex gig and it's so much better than the official one which was done in 2006 for the single release which was pretty shocking.
