It's a ballad. Translated from Amazon france: After having delivered two majestic solo albums in recent years and before, hopefully, a third opus, the enfant terrible of Manchester lights up the end of the year by offering a new title: the ballad 'All You're Dreaming Of' which part of the proceeds will be donated to charities for children. Can't wait! Thanks for that. I love the title of the song and what a great idea to donate part of the proceeds to children charities.

I remember thinking that about both The Shock Of The Lightning and For What It's Worth, that they would both be a cheese-fest, but ended up loving both.

That would be a very nice gesture, although I'm getting some We Are The World vibes from this Hope it's just a strong ballad and not something *too* christmassy Didn't someone say earlier that this is a Simon Aldred song? Seems unlikely to be ultra ultra cheesy since he's too poetic for that, but one never knows in these times. Can't really imagine Liam, even at his most angelic, going for a "gather round the manger" song, either ... but hey, it would shock people.

Actually, now you mention it i do remember there being some mutterings about an Aldred ballad, but nothing more was said at the time. Its name wasn't mentioned, or whether it would be the first single , so i dont know for sure.

Would it be possible to get a #1 single? I can't see it happen to be honest.

Would it be possible to get a #1 single? I can't see it happen to be honest. The BBC cover of SCYHO is more likely to get to no.1 But class that we're getting a new song before the year's out Hopefully the start of the tide turning in the new year and we can all get back to normality and get beyond this bloody virus and lockdown state

Hard to beat Last Christmas and All I Want For Christmas Is You You do have to remember that Last Christmas had no chance, due to being up against Band Aid....Everyone was guilt tripped into buying multiple copies of that (not that its a bad cause, but one was enough imo)...

I cant tell whether you like it or not, but Im not afraid to profess that its my favourite Christmas song, and what people forget is that its a double a-side with another quite good pop song (Everything She Wants).

I love the Band Aid song and still have the single some where. Anyway, back to Liam's new single even if it doesn't make number one it would be great if it makes the top 5 even.

......................and to be loved by everyone. Yeah, being honest and realistic, I dont see a number one single as ever being possible again for Liam and/or Noel. Songs like Wall of Glass and What A Life seemed pretty huge in their time, but only got to around no20. Even an excessively promoted, brilliant Oasis reunion single would probably only make the top ten. It had already started to show even before they split, when The Shock Of The Lightning only reached no3. I think what id view as an achievement for this one is if it made the top 20, as Liam hasn't had that since Oasis.
