Shame so many people (who can afford it) don’t put their money where their mouth is. If you can’t even break even after putting on an event like this then anything else planned turns to toast and we all miss out. Big love to those who paid 💙x

How many people turned out ? The price might have been scary for some. Especially with no download afterwards. I'd say it's a success, even my father mentionned it. And never knows anything about this stuff.

Just received my Down by the River Thames poster, came in a massive cardboard box. I know its just a print but looks very cool, will have to get it framed. Happy to have paid and watched this live, think it was a great success

Big love to those who paid 💙x That's a shame, I guess it was inevitable in this day and age. I know I was one of a few people on here who were working so couldn't watch it, I've not actually watched the whole gig, just the few songs posted by Maxi and others on YouTube. I'd have paid to watch if I was at home but it was a very narrow window, I don't know if there was a better way of monetising it if Liam had linked up with one of the streaming services instead of going the Box Office method for example. I'd buy a DVD of it, no question.

Anybody know if its possible to rewatch the gig from an official source? Missed out but would gladly pay a little to what looks a sensational production.

Big love to those who paid 💙x I’m all for paying for this content - as it happened I had to pay twice because my one time code never arrived for the first purchase - the slightly baffling thing about this is not being able to buy it after the event.

It’ll be sold to a VOD broadcaster, yeH. I'm always confused by licensing details. I guess they can sell the concert to be streamed by others but NOT sold as a DVD or whatever?

Probably The River from this gig is my most favourite version of this song. I wasn't a big fan of this song, it's ok, nothing special, but this heavy version. Don't think additional drumming by Gene was the reason, but who knows? MTV Unplugged was fantastic, but this one is bloody fantastic. Liam, band, ladies from backing vocals, location, time, view - everything is perfect. Best thing Liam has done since he went solo. It's a big shame not to release as a DVD/BR, CD and vinyl. Think about it, good good people from management. I fell in love with this song (The River) when i was playing around with an audio plugin on the original recording on my Mac. I made an "unbrickwalled" version for myself and was surprised how cool the song actually is. Yes i finally saw the gig and I have to agree with you and eva - this is the best Liam has done since he went solo! I still love my TRNSMT Festival from 2018 and I watch the incredible Unplugged gig once a month - but this is outstanding. As sad as it is that there is no crowd allowed at gigs nowadays - this is probably the best recording of any Liam/Oasis gig without any distractions or disturbing noises. My highlight is Fade Away. This version is as good or even better than the Glasgow Barrowlands gig version from 2001 which used to be my go to version.

Has anyone in the US received their ticket yet? Is everyone getting a ticket, or just the people who paid during the pre-sale period?

HOLY FUCKEverything about that was fucking amazing. I wasn’t planning on making a long post prior to watching, but this performance deserves a Beady epic. Goes without saying that this was a 10/10 event. Best Oasis related release since 2016’s Supersonic DVD Documentary - right up there with it. 1. VisualsThe visuals to this were stunning. Floating on a barge down the Thames. With amazing panning shots of London lit up so beautifully at night. Absolutely epic city. And whoever produced this did a fucking phenomenal job. 2. Liam is Back - in Every SenseA. The Voice: - Liam absolutely smashed it. As his voice deteriorated from 2005 to 2017, with it really bad towards the end, he also went through a semi mental breakdown in 2013. Look at his demeanor now compared to 2009 - 2013. He was (understandably) angry in 2009 as Oasis fractured. And in Beady Eye he always, always, was very tense on stage - which is uncharacteristic of him. You could easily tell something was off about the Liam from that era. His voice is now (mostly) universally accepted to be his best since 2002 - that’s in almost two decades. Amazing comeback story. B. His Demeanor: - Now, he’s relaxed. He’s confident. The swagger has returned. His banter is on form (the spiel about the London Eye had me in stitches). His gibberish during songs is back (I have always loved that, I find it endearing). Essentially, after over a decade, he’s having fun again. C. Cool As Fuck: - He worked really hard, stays healthy, and looks as cool as fuck now at 48 as he did when he was a decade younger. He went off the rails (I empathize) in 2013 and looked terrible. He’s sporting cool haircut styles again. This is the best Liam has looked since 2005. 3. HighlightsFADE AWAY....actually fuck it, I thoroughly enjoyed every single track. I can’t remember the last time I said that about a Liam performance. Fade Away was my top highlight though, and for non-Oasis songs, Shockwave really surprised me with how good it sounded. 4. Bonehead Need I say anything more? Much respect. Needs to feature in some capacity in an Oasis reunion - and of course he will. Lad! 5. No, I Don’t Feel DownI’ve been having a progressively rough last few months. This put the biggest smile on my face in quite some time. I may look back at this post in 2030 and cringe, as I now likewise do with my posts from 2005. But fuck it. I needed this. 6. DVD ReleaseIf Tottenham are releasing a DVD for topping the league for one week this season, then by stark comparison Liam Gallagher’s Live ‘Down by the River Thames’ not only deserves a DVD release in 4K, but also a gold trophy. Smashed it. There’s nothing I can say better than you did here. You are absolutely correct in your assessment of this amazing event. Well done Beady, but you’ll only get to do it once. The only thing I’d have loved to see in addition to what we got would have been One of Us (perfect setup for it) and DYKWIM because, let’s face it, with those helicopters hovering and fans over the world watching, it was such a missed opportunity. But I still can’t get over how good this was. During Wall of Glass I noticed how killer the guitar sound was, Halo was actually a highlight for me, and of course Once under Tower Bridge. Made me miss London and my family and friends there even more than I already was. Not a single song deserved to be swapped out, the band was so tight and of course Liam was on fire. I’ve not even mentioned how tremendous it was to finally hear Headshrinker, and with a stunning Fade Away in the same set. Definitely a moment to remember as an Oasis fan for 25 years. In an age of mass uncertainty, Liam and this gig gave me something I never anticipated: the feeling of certainty. How certain I am of how much this band and their music, their story matter to me. How proud I am of their accomplishments. And how certain I am that they’ll always be able to put an enormous smile on my face with a performance like this.

Anybody remember when people talked bad about his band members on his first solo tour? Yes there were some gigs that doesn't sounded great but they became a real band and with this gig I hope that his talk is finally over. If Corona was good for at least one thing (and I say this with all the respect for the people that lost their loved ones!) - then it is the fact that Liam gave us his best recording ever! And with the UK starting to vaccinate this week and the rest of the world will follow soon - I hope that next year we all we thinking of the beer when we are talking about Corona and not the disease! Cheers

Liam from the beady eye days was ok till he shagged a bird and she happened to fall pregnant then it all went pear shaped for them plus not getting a number 1 I think Altered his ego . He’s got his swagger back again and good to see him out a parka In the new video! This gig was superb , well shot ,great sound and the band on fire ,people criticise these but it’s there Job they at the start we’re just top quality studio session musicians who seemed slightly in awe of what they were doing , they now seem like a group of friends enjoying it and more confident . Liams voice spot on

I watched it tonight in full for the first time. All I can say was it was magnificent absolutely magnificent. We just have to capture Guigsy now and have 3 original members on stage but the sound is Oasis on the Oasis tracks on this gig. The drummer was incredible
