do people really think he's miming still? he definitely sounds great but he's given up hitting the high parts in wall of glass. this is as live as you can get from him.

As you say, if they were going to dub it, they might as well put back the notes he wimped out on. I’d be surprised if he can sing Headshrinker that full on during a tour (as with the one Rockin Chair performance in the original key), but it was great here and will be a nice treat in future when he’s up to it.

Noel hired an actor named Richie Vanderlew back in 1993 to play Liam in the band Oasis. Everything since has been clever images, videos and miming. That is why “Liam” wasn’t on MTV Unplugged. Technical difficulties syncing the mics and real audio outputs.

Would an Oasis reunion even be that good? Feels like it can’t be topped. The anticipation would be amazing, but it'd be full of coked-up arseholes causing trouble and Liam would be shouting over the top of the crowd. Plus I think what is great about their solo careers is they can both play what they like, you'd never get Headshrinker or Gas Panic at a big reunion gig. You've just described every Liam Gallagher gig since probably 1994, covering Oasis, Beady Eye and now solo, coked up arseholes (chucking piss) is not a stick to beat an Oasis reunion with, it's par for the course in the UK at least... Liam shouts because the onstage level is too loud combined with the fact it's his outlet for his aggression when singing because he ain't jumping around. Move the live amps off stage, give the band in ears and get the monitor engineer to turn it up and he'll be fine. Other thing to consider is, has anybody ever asked Liam what his hearing is like these days? He's been at this for over 25 years... They played My Big Mouth on the last tour which is rarer than rocking horse shit, and now that Liam has played material off every Oasis album bar Heathen Chemistry during his solo gigs, I reckon he would want a bigger say in an Oasis setlist moving forward. Edit: Watching the Thames gig now, Liam is the only one with monitors, the rest of the band including Bonehead are on In Ears so no problem there.

I dunno, 7 years as a rhythm guitarist, 15 years sitting at home, then another spell as a rhythm guitarist without having to learn any of the songs which happened in between? It’s not glamorous but it’s a hell of a nice life.

I was blown away by this last night. Fade Away and Headshrinker sounding great? Greedy Soul being back to the true electric version that rocks? The band sounding much better than usual? I keep thinking about everyone who asked if Whitey was on the drums for Hello after the BBC radio broadcast it, which is a kind of a backhanded compliment to Liam's drummer basically. All in all this was an amazing gig and probably the best one he's given us of his solo career.

Would be great for Bonehead to be a permanent part of Liam's band.

Fade Away and Headshrinker : goof stuff ! Who's the hobo in the hat caressing the guitar next to Liam ? hit it hard dude. Is this a new lead guitarist on the right ? I'm afraid i dont know Liam's musicians that much.

If it helps anyone’s understanding, the production team were different for AYDO than all the other tracks; the reason being it’s use to promote the single so had a different funding source. Personally, I prefer the production on tracks 1-15.

Personally, I prefer the production on tracks 1-15 by Forest of Black. It adds another clue to our mystery and would explain a lot of things.

The performance of Fade Away is my favourite Liam Gallagher performance this century, hands down.

@daicaramel on Twitter has posted a 1080P link via torrent & Google Drive link. Grabbed it earlier. Won't post the link to video or tweet as my earlier post was removed that contained a link That's gone now. Would appreciate another handle to be able to view?

If that does not work try again later, i had errors then it worked (the torrent). Depends on when you try if the Google Drive had too much downloads.

Definitely not miming but there is 100% overdubbing on this, ie things recorded of re-recorded after the performance date. The bass line on Fade Away is definitely more complex than what Drew is actually playing. Not bothered anyway. As long as it sounds good who gives a shit. I’m sure there was things like this all over the Jonathan Ross and MTV unplugged aswell

As for the music, it's an interesting reply, i will have to watch the whole thing closely to comment on this. The MTV unplugged was autotuned but live aswell. I doubt Liam would go as as miming during a "real" gig. That would be a shame. And i doubt he would want it, coz that's his life. The only one i find highly suspicious for now is Jonathan Ross version. It's all mimed for me.

They're completely different type of songs, AYDO is very high but the high notes are in scale (I don't know if it's the correct way to say it) and it's a lot easier to reach an high note in scale than with a jump
