Getting dueling Lennon covers from the two brothers is rather charming, no matter what you think of each of them. dueling covers? let's not make tributes to John Lennon a competition. |

In music history, dueliing is a form of entertainment – as in dueling pianos, dueling banjos, etcetera, a way of contrasting two styles, not a fight to the death. The light-hearted competitiveness is quite obviously there (even if it's post facto, see Liam's twitter comments in the last few hours), but it’s in the spirit of both loving Lennon. Two things can be true at the same time. |

Liam decided yesterday morning to add to an already finished Wyatt solo track. Make of that what you will. Whatever the reason, I’m so pleased he did. Brilliant. He added that usual spice to AW’s version. |

Sounds great - hope he releases the full version. Is Liam releasing anything for Lennon's birthday? Prob for later in the year. Maybe for the Lennon death anniversary. Who knows. Yeah, 40 years isn't it, so imagine there'll be some stuff being pumped out. |

Thoughts this was going to be a bit crap, like Liam would have done it much better... but wow it's actually really good and suits Noel much more than I thought it would... a great interpretation!!!
