Andy has quite a few things lined up next week to promote the new album over a few radio stations. http://instagr.am/p/CF2NZGKlvsx If anyone can record the acoustic set or let me know the best way to do so it would be greatly appreciated. Andy is doing an acoustic set tomorrow night on XS Manchester. Is anyone able to record or let me know how and I’ll give it a go?  |

Andy is doing an acoustic set tomorrow night on XS Manchester. Is anyone able to record or let me know how and I’ll give it a go? Will it be broadcast also online? If yes, then you just have to download a program called Audacity. Choose your computer's speakers as the input device for recording, start listening to the show and and press Rec.  Remember to export the file as a 16-bit wav (losless) or a 320kbps mp3 (lossy) to maintain a good quality. www.vidmore.com/record-audio/audacity-record-computer-audio/Here's a more detailed guide. Just listened to it all top to bottom. Very very good. It’s modern. It’s slightly electronic. It’s a collage of genres. It’s fun.

Really like this, I expected it to be softer but it's actually got various influences and sounds and you can obviously still hear Ride
There's such a cool vibe to the whole thing
Love Come In Waves is still my favourite, but I liked them all, maybe I Was Alone is a bit underwhelming

Where was this Andy while in Oasis and Beady Eye? Those Gallagher Bros must have really intimidated him creatively. Hats off to Gem for great production.

I still think the best Beady Eye tunes were his (Four Letter Word and Soon Come Tomorrow), but his contribution to Oasis was so underwhelming considering his past (first two Ride albums are fantastic) and overall musical capabilities Gem's contribution was as bad, but at least he's never really shown he could be more than a good lead guitarist who didn't write half the parts he's performing, Andy was such a missed opportunity and he could've really brought a change of direction to the band's sound |

really good album!
some great songs; Loved Skywalker - Aubrey Gladwell and obviously Love Comes in Waves
would have preferred more lyrics in spots but the instrumental aspect worked
no complaints

There are acoustic versions of Skywalker and Cherry Cola too throughout the show according to John Kennedy, not sure of when, will have a listen this afternoon or tonight. It’s up for a further 6 days to listen back. eva birchy rather than me use Audacity first, is there a way of getting the direct stream so there is no quality loss? |

would cut half of Skywalker and Cherry Cola
nice to hear Gem but he should drop the Macca bassline
Liam would sound phenomenal on tunes like these
I don't need the BIG chorus from him anymore
