I guess no reunion this year because of Corona... No reunion because Noel doesn't want to do it.

If we actually think about it for a moment, would an Oasis reunion be worth it? Noel has said that he doesn't listen to Liam's new records, because he 'can't stand his voice'. Noel has said that he doesn't want to make Oasis style songs and wants to keep experimenting, Liam has said that he wouldn't sing the kind of stuff that Noel's putting out. If they did record an album, Liam would be unhappy with the material and Noel would be unhappy with how Liam sung the material. If Noel tried to write Oasis songs, it'd most likely turn out mediocre, as Dead In The Water and Wandering Star prove. So it'd probably be a mess. So, our other option is no album, but a tour. Would it be worth it just to see them play old songs? Isn't that what records are for? Do we really want them to just give up and feed into nostalgia? I can only speak for myself, but I hope to god they don't reunite. Noel should keep doing his thing, Liam should do his. That's basically what every Oasis tour after 1998 was though. The sets were always geared towards the hits. That's a problem though, because any new tour that focused on the hits would essentially just be more of the same. Is that what we want? Perhaps not, but speaking as someone who never got to see Oasis live, I would buy a ticket to a reunion gig in a heartbeat. I agree. I would rather they stay split up if we don't get a new album. Might be because I don't live in the UK anymore so seeing them is less likely. I would love an album of Noel written and Liam sung songs again. Maybe Liam can write one and Noel can sing 1 or 2.

Pretty sure he was talking about his solo music. But he uses the word 'we' in the tweet and we get a whole new round of Oasis reunion rumours. Has publicity ever been this easy?

MAd how all of the absolute window lickers on twitter think Oasis are reforming, because of a daft tweet. Happens all the time.

The only Tweet troll I fell for from Liam is when he spelled out O A S I S in separate letters over a period of hours. It was also one of his first twitter trolls (2014, I think), and one of his best. Thought it was clever. Got the seal of approval from Troll Beady.

Liam said 'we have lift of c'mon you know'. And he previously said that c'mon you know will be the title of album 3. So this is surely a non oasis related story and relates to album 3? Maybe a couple of songs are in the can.

We should be lucky that we like a band that people give a shit about still... - Don’t Stop - an unreleased demo makes national news - Take Me (Siren) - a national radio station devotes a week of content - People want a reunion based on one tweet as above

Shows the status they really have in the UK.

Quite surprised Absolute Radio made such a big deal over it. We're very lucky as you say to love Oasis as one of our favourite bands.

Who actually wants a reunion?
Did people forget the boring set lists and at times dismal performances between 2007-2009?

I think the decade break would mean they'd be refreshed, a reunion doesn't automatically mean it'd be like the late 2000s again.
Plus Liam voice is much better.
A one off gig would be great no doubt.
