Probably Fade Away. I remember getting The Masterplan cassette (eh...) and thinking there was nothing special in Fade Away. Then I heard the War Child version (that's still my preferred version), and the lyrics sprung out much more. Actually, the older I get, the better the song gets. Rather sad and still hopeful at the same time. I still heavily dislike the original production, though. Im neutral with Fade Away - its one of my least faves on TM, but i play it now and again. Thing is, every time i listen to it i start singing 'like a prisoner who has his own key, but i can't escape until you love me' LOL

Very good thread idea. I will write more later, but Gas Panic immediately comes to mind. Thanks, its my first haha. Being the only album my dad didn't own when i became a fan, i overlooked SOTSOG for years - only knew Go Let It Out. But as a kid, I strongly reckon i wouldn't have liked the style of Gas Panic, while now its in my top 10. So long story short , if id known GP from the start, it could well have been my choice.

The number of people who call that the worst song on any Oasis album , its nice to find someone who likes it.

Better man At first I thought it would be typical LAG garbage but because of this forum I gave it another listen and it’s the best thing since Beethoven’s fifth Let's not get ridiculous.... Beethoven's Fifth isn't that good.

Let's not get ridiculous.... Beethoven's Fifth isn't that good. Beethoven's fifth is like a classical wonderwall Beethoven has a lot of Wonderwalls ahah (meaning he has a lot of very popular pieces). "Für Elise", "Ode to Joy" or "Moonlight Sonata" could also be considered as his Wonderwall.

"Roll it Over"
There is an acoustic cover on youtube that sounds awesome to me. This song has really big potential when done acoustic.
"I Hope I Think I Know"
The CD version never did it for me but when I first heard it on vinyl I fell in love with this song.

🤔 I think what stopped me from really liking that one is that its over too quick, there isnt much of a listening experience etc. Maybe i should give it another try

Yes , while the last 4 minutes could maybe be like 1 minute shorter, to me its one of those tracks that genuinely suits being long, like Champagne Supernova. It tends to go by quicker than I expect , the chorus is very good, and as an entity it doesnt seem as overlong as some others on BHN.
