If either of them were working through the years, wouldn't we know about it? People getting autographs and pictures ... ect. Instead hasn't it been relatively silent? Probably because they are wealthy enough to not do so. Sure, they can't go buy a jet. But taking care of their basic living needs and having a bit more from royalties plus whatever trickles off annually from large money market accounts, yeah, they are well off.

It set them up for life. If they needed the money they would never have left the band.
If you have followed Bonehead on social media over the past few years - he's constantly on holiday. He doesn't have time for working!

Of course they will have made enough cash to be set for the rest of their days, Alan too. I think if Guigs for example had been painting and decorating for the last 20 years, we’d have heard about it by now. Nope, he’ll have been sitting in a nice house, having nice holidays and smoking a copious amount of splifs. Nice image. 🌞

I read a few articles back in the day about how oasis royalties work and how the cost of a CD sale is split.
All five members of Oasis received EXACTLY the same share of royalties on DM MG BHN and The Masterplan. They Also got royalties for Stop the Clocks and Time Flies.
In total Bonehead and guigs got / are getting royalties for approx 50 million album sales.
Which is about £2.50 per album split 5 ways. So 50p an album in royalties makes them £25 million
Noel however got the slice of songwriting credits which is about £1.00 extra per sale.
So Noel Earned approx £75 million from those albums mentioned. Minus 45% super tax of course.
If I came into a million quid. I'd buy 10 houses and rent them out and never work again.
Trust me
They'll never have to work again.

I remember that Noel gave the others a share of the songwriting royalties for Be Here Now which would have helped.

If I came into a million quid. I'd buy 10 houses and rent them out and never work again. Good luck with finding those 10 houses for £1M

Back in the day when Bonehead left it was estimated they made like 5 millions each if i remember correctly. but it was probably more, lots more since Oasis sold records by wagons and made huge profitable tours. Liam was at like 20, and Noel at 50. but that was 20 years ago. So yeah, Bonehead is a rich fucker dont worry. Which is about £2.50 per album split 5 ways. So 50p an album in royalties makes them £25 million Noel however got the slice of songwriting credits which is about £1.00 extra per sale. 2,50 per albums ? That seems a bit much. Back then, big artists got like 1 per album sold. Few managed to get deals with more than 1. Maybe the 2.5 included Noel's songwriting part ? I doubt those numbers were true. Could be wrong though. But it was a lot of money anyway. LOTS and LOTS. Probably why they left too, they had the money, peaked and were unimportant to the band. So why not enjoy life another way.
