I voted six.
It's a pleasant tune with some nice vibes and an enjoyable break.
Nothing I'd be sad never to hear again.

It's still a 7.5 for me but I do really dig it.
It builds so nicely, it's just another chorus short

He’s coming out with some great instrumentals, but I find that his voice or the lyrics or both sometimes really let it down. I feel like this could be so much better, for me 7-7.5/10

I went with 8/10. Like the verses. Great chorus but understated to fit the mood of the song. TITP was the one trying to recall the euphoria of Madchester and this tries to be a "sad banger"

That’s the problem for me, it’s like he’s trying to write a certain mood, almost forcing it. Certainly comes across that way to me anyway. Especially so on the title tracks off each EP.

he's been writing Wonderall over and over until IfIHadaGun/Riverman/DyingOfTheLight so give the little man some SPACE
love his last EP's Rattling Rose, Evil Flower and Blue Moon Rising over anything else for me.

Growing on me. Still needs to be two minutes longer and lot more intense, but I enjoy his vocal performance a lot and the production is still quite cinematic as is. Bumped up to a seven.

That’s the problem for me, it’s like he’s trying to write a certain mood, almost forcing it. Certainly comes across that way to me anyway. Especially so on the title tracks off each EP. I think I can understand what you say. Some of the songs from the EPs can feel like "exercises in style" to prove himself he can write a song in a certain way: BSD is his 70's disco song, TITP is his Hacienda song, ADIANTGB his Bacharach song... But, except for 'Black Star Dancing', I think the results have been from good to excellent. These EPs and WBTM made me realise that lack of variety and uniform production were preventing me to enjoy some Noel songs as much as their songwriting quality deserved, especially in the first album. In any case, EPs between albums are the perfect place for these. I do not think Noel Gallagher will ever release an album where you do not have at least a few strongly melodic, classical sounding songs.

Yeah quite like this one Noely G. I kind of get what he’s trying to do with his music a bit more now. Been a bit hit and miss for me since WBTFM but I’ve got a little NGHFB playlist with these new tunes and they’re sounding alright.

I quite like the song but it’s nothing more than average. Loving the Rio off of Kate Bush - running up that hill.
