I think the results would show if we want Noel to continue pushing his boundaries or to go back to his Oasis roots.
My vote would be for Amorphous Androgynous (although would prefer it to be new material and not mostly different versions of the debut album)

The whole AA collaboration thing is wildly overestimated by this forum, like it would be something incredible. AA are not that interesting, and the collaboration was probably scrapped because it was genuinely shite. I couldn't care less that the project was scrapped.

I am not particularly excited by any of them but, if forced to choose, I see the Oasis reunion as specially pointless. Gigs would be fun but in my opinion there's not point in a new Oasis album

Neither. Part of me likes that he’s continuing to broaden his musical horizons even though the results aren’t always all that great. Another part of me wishes he’d just do a never ending tour with Gem and Terry and lean in to what he truly does best.

I fully believe the AA album is not that good. No one shelves a legitimately good album and eats the total cost.
I'd rather roll the dice that Noel would be capable of applying his new style with Liam's voice for far more exciting results than anything from the AA.

Noel admitted that it sucks mostly because of him and his refusal to write in the studio. He now learned a bit from David Holmes. I don't want the scrapped album but it would be cool if he at least created a new EP from scratch and agreeing to work in the way AA likes to work. |

I want the AA album - just the little snippets we've heard of the stuff from those sessions (Shoot a Hole... , The Mexican, DOYAM etc.) convince me that it ISN'T shite and it WOULD be amazing. I also wanna hear the remix that they maybe started of Chasing Yesterday and for THEM to be the ones Noel's doing the writing-in-the-studio stuff with instead of David Holmes with his boring loop-based songs and his lazy 'send the file to a session bassist/drummer/whatever' approach to making music.
So, yeah, AA stuff please.

I def would like to hear it. Shoot a Hole is great. Prob in a minority that likes the 22 min Falling Down. Love the Pink Floyd / James Bond female vocal part.
It was a one off. We'll prob hear it eventually. Before we get an Oasis reunion I think.
