Any chance that he's playing Lollapalooza Berlin? It's the week after Reading/Leeds. Would be cool to see him and Gerry Cinnamon there.

Really can't see anything like that happening (Knebworth I mean). Maybe he'll play at another festival but he's doing Reading and Leeds already, plus Heaton Park. Just seems to have been left very late to announce for another festival and definitely too late to announce for a summer gig of his own.

Albeit Oasis’ own Knebworth was announced after Maine Road in April. Although then I suppose they could have announced it the day before and still sold the bugger out!

Reckon there will be a knebworth or Wembley show, but next summer after the third album.

Yeh it just seems now that any big gig needs like 6 months at least. It's really annoying tbf. Guess it's just the way it is. Only exception I can think of is Kasabian when they played King Power Stadium in 2016 for Leicester winning the league. The gigs were the end of May and pretty sure they were announced very late in April.

And again, I know I might be in a minority but I'd rather it be a longer wait and get something a bit different than a rehash of WMWN personally. If they can get that done quickly fair enough. Just seems a rush given how his albums have been spaced out so far. He'd have 100% sold out Etihad this summer, shame they couldn't make it work.

Waiting longer is unlikely to change the style of the music. If you aren't on board up to now its unlikely to grab you next time around.

He's said as much himself that he is about to start recording sessions shortly. Could be bullshitting, but I have a feeling he has been promised a Glastonbury headline next year if he gets a third album out first. So new album next spring, Glasto, summer tour ending with Wembley/Knebworth show. Job done, year off.

I really liked AYW and like half of WMWN, with 2-3 songs that I think are great. I've been to see him five times in the space of three years, including travelling abroad for it and going to Finsbury. Doesn't mean Liam can't push himself and the fans can't follow. Also doesn't mean I'm expecting space rock or whatever. I'd rather Liam be pushing himself than plodding out another Be Still or Shockwave, though.

Sep 19th Tokyo/Sep 20th Osaka - Supersonic Festival Please don't get me wrong as I'm not pointing this at you at all, but It "amazes" me more and more every day. Sorry for posting in a wrong thread, but Japanese government announcing yesterday to give 2 mouth masks per household is a bad joke. They should have taken more serious measures months ago.

Well, I'm sure there will be a festival cancellation announcement around the summer. I think it's Abe's fault that he hasn't declared a state of emergency and issued a compensation policy yet. He only cares about the economy, his and his friends money. I think Abe is worse than Trump.
