Blue Moon Rising sounds 10x more interesting than Wandering Star judging by the preview.
This could be a great little EP.

Preview sounds good. I hope it doesn't get a forced "anthemic" hook. Something more sleek and sexy would fit.

Blue Moon Rising is about the rise and hopefully, fall of Manchester City FC.

I wish songs like BSD, TITP and BMR were around for MOON. We needed more of these types of tunes!

Amazon gift cards from one country cannot be used in other countries (or, at least, it failed when I tried in the past) But what im saying is: 1) Use your foregin CC to buy the japanese gift card 2) Use the japanese giftcard to buy the track. 3) 4) Presto(or not ) I actually also tried that. It seems this is allowed in theory but then Amazon asked me to upload information to prove the credit card was mine, etc. before authorizing the transaction. And then the song was gone

I think it feels fleshed out as it is, and it flows nicely from start to end. Unless you mean to replace a track like Black & White Sunshine, in which case I could see it. I tried this playlist a few weeks ago: 1) Fort Knox 2) Holy Mountain 3) She Taught Me How to Fly 4) Beautiful World 5) Black Star Dancing 6) Interlude (Wednesday Part One) 7) Be Careful What You Wish For 8) This is the Place 9) If Love is the Law 10) The Man Who Built the Moon 11) End Credits (Wednesday Part Two) 12) Dead in the Water

I’d also dump interludes but probably just make them a 5 min song in the middle of the record.

If one of the EP songs should have been on there, it would have to be Wandering Star though. TITP and BSD don't really fit the mood of the album imo.

Well here I was, thinking I'd wake up to a new tune. Here we go again. Well, you did, really. It just wasn't the one you expected. I said that before I knew it had dropped.

Black Star Dancing & This is the Place were not written or completed, so you cant add them to WBTM though.
I'd say if he had made the two interludes more interesting, it would not need another track, but yeah WBTM definitely needed another song.

Rule #1 of album reworked tracklisting for your own pleasure, can only add songs from same sessions that were finished and recorded, i'm strict on that

X If you dont follow that rule, it's simply chaos. Like travelling in time and killing your younger self, it's a paradox. The rules of the universe cant be shaken.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume Noel ruined the raw power of Come On Outside. It’ll be slower or weirder just for the sake of being “modern”

I like the music in the interludes. Reminds me of the Gorillaz. Imagine he got Damon to sing on it? My mind would melt. I don’t like how they are sequenced on the album. Very poor. I could easily squeeze BSD and TITP. To me MOON is about new sounds and production. Those songs have it over safer material like Keep On Reaching (which I do enjoy) or Black and White Sunshine. Just feels a song short. Still a very very very good Noel album. Not a masterpiece. He’s not there yet. Might not get there either. He’s like 52.

when I saw the tweet this afternoon I was expecting Wandering Star and I get slapped in the fasce with more cosmic pop?? why, Noel, why *facepalm* More electro-pop from Noel that I'm still not keen on, though the melody that begins at the end of Igotflair's 90-second clip seems likely to place it above "This is the place" which is complete dross for me.

I guess he does whatever he wants at this point.

I could totally see his management saying "you have to make some money off of this one if you want to keep doing these." Paying for a proper music video with Stephen Graham would cut into that profit though...
