Only listened to it on my phone but it sounded like a simple edit with a few instrumental sections cut out rather than a different mix. X |

The Reflex Revision is much closer to how I would envision a better-produced version of this song would sound. However, I'm not sure why the middle section is completely drumless, unlike how in the original, the middle section's drums would punch and pop out at you. I think Reflex gave the song a little too much space rather than giving it the frenetic climax it needed.
Also, the 7'' mix is awful. I have no idea why Noel cut-and-paste the chorus in between the two verses!! Kills the buildup of tension with a stick. It sounds like a painfully amateur edit job, and somehow sounds even more like a radio edit than the original. Genuinely baffling that Noel found this edit releasable.

If people like this song that's cool, i'm just thinking of the bigger picture. The young Oasis fans have all latched onto Liam and don't care about Noel and his recent music. That's sad to see as someone who is a huge Noel fan. This song has been out two weeks and has 230k views on Youtube. Noel Gallagher releases a new song and that's how many people are interested. People used to care when Noel released a new song. Liam releases a video of an old song and gets 2million views in two weeks. Noel, time to f'n wake up mate. I don't believe it's all about the songs (though of course it's a factor). But Noel's been doing his own publicity while Liam is being taken care by Warner. And it's very clear that Noel doesn't know shit about marketing. The way he's been announcing the Eps is atrocious. |

The Reflex Revision uses a lot of the potential the original song had. The 7" Mix was really bad, even more rushed than the original. Definitely my favorite of the EP's in any case.

I think he’s only ever done remixes of songs after they’re already finished. He actually started out doing bootleg unofficial remixes. But goddamn there’s no harm in them putting a week aside and seeing what comes out of it... X |
