I was clapping when I saw this. Noel firmly put in place in front of his two lovers. Noel's behavior the last 2 years have been dreadful. He suddenly started to dig on Dave and the foo's two years ago I think? Complaining about the shouting and have been generally rude against the foo's since. Before that it seemed like they had a much better relationship. Partying together and playing gigs together.
I haven't listened any of the foo fighters album. But you can't deny the brilliance of Dave Grohl. and Taylor Hawkins is a good drummer and seems like a nice dude.

It is no coinscidence that Noel has started digging Dave and the Foo's out since Liam has been seen on stage with them. If you can't see through his comments, then you are an idiot.
It's getting to the point now where if you even say you like Liam, then Noel will automatically not like you.
I like Matt Morgan, he's hilarious. Gordon Smart is a dispicable human being, though.

Taylor great dude and great drummer, he was right about Noel, they were friends and all of sudden Noel started to stab them for no reason, like Noel did with Ashcroft too months ago.
Dave also a great guy, big Oasis fan too, he started Foo Fighters as a way to escape depression because of Kurt's death and the Nirvana shadow, the first Foo album has a different feeling, a feeling of getting through and do something, to believe in himself, he played every instrument and wrote every song, Big Me and This is a Call are great songs.
Btw Dave wrote Big Me still as a Nirvana demo.

Genuinely, I had to google him too. I thought he was a member of Blink 182 or Limp Bizkit. Suffice to say, I found out he was in a shit band so I wasn’t far off. |

I think it's interesting that Taylors digs sound more like fanboys arguments you read e.g. on here (Noel being a potato, his albums not selling that good, Liam being a better singer, Liam filling up bigger arenas etc) than a rockstar giving another rockstar a friendly dig. Wonder if he got that from fanboying his way through the internet, or from communications with Liam. |

First album of the Foo Fighters / Dave Growl is still a masterpiece of rock.
Nowadays it's not the same story... FF are a good band but nothing special for me. Sorry.

I've always thought Foo Fighters are a good singles band. A bit like Kasabian have been in the past. If you're looking for albums deep with artistry, look elsewhere. They've got so big that they sometimes feel like a big corporate money-making machine like Oasis were in the 00s.

Perhaps it falters in the middle. But, it has a strong start and end. |

I have no issues, really, with Taylor's interview but he seemed to knock Noel for being relegated to opening for Smashing Pumpkins, ignoring the fact that Liam just did the same for The Who... What's the difference?
I understand The Who are considered one of the all-time greats, but it's not like Smashing Pumpkins weren't a hugely successful rock band, regardless of your or my opinion of their music. No shame in opening for either, imo.

Noel has been a solo act since 2011 and he's yet to play a Finsbury Park. I guess that's Taylor's logic.
