Actually, I raise a half decent point:
I can easily see the ‘surprise’ being Noel’s answer to Liam’s One of Us. But is Noel accepting the olive branch, or is this instead a song about slagging off his rival kid brother?

The song has a massive breakdown, then for a two minute spoken word outro Albarn gently whispers in his mockney cockney accent: “Who ate all the pies? Who ate all the pies?”
This outro makes the EP too long to be chart eligible.

I came on this forum tonight thinking this Wandering Star thread would have a lot more pages than the 8 I left it with yesterday and that a couple of you would have heard a snippet of the aforementioned song. Seen an interview in a New Zealand newspaper, he say the single ( with xmas bells) will be out by xmas, but the third ep will now be early 2020. And he reckons he's going to have enough material and might make a double album when he starts recording again. X |
