The vocal performance is not good. Live sounded better. I don't know if it's weak or just buried.

One more comment about Ozzy and I'm gonna fucking kill myself. We fucking get it, it sounds like 'dreamer' by Ozzy Osbourne. Hey, did you know that Don’t Look Back In Anger sounds like an obscure John Lennon song? You should definitely check it out. X |

Haven't heard the clips from live shows at all, didn't listen to anything that came along yesterday, I needed some "inspirational" cigarettes, gonna sit down now and see what its all about, judging by the comments on here I'm expecting dreamer by Ozzy Osbourne crossed with embrace/Robbie fucking Williams, Christmas sleigh bells and vocals that can't be heard an a shitload of compression, even the usual descriptions Noel gives his songs can't compete with that, I'll give it a listen then...

Exactly what I was thinking. I was very impressed with Noel's production on This is the Place (the song). It was rich, powerful, and clear. This is the opposite of all those things. Makes it hard for me to assess the song underneath it. None of it has gotten stuck in my head, though. |
