There were other places they could’ve played is my point Liam is arguably playing bigger venues in areas of the world, the oasis management at times was a shambles They played Den Bosch in 1997 which I believe at the time was the only arena in the Netherlands. I think on the DOYS tour they played two sold-out nights at AFAS Live - which is obviously just next to Ziggo Dome and also where Liam played last time and Noel too. In 1997 they played mostly in arenas in Europe (but 23 years ago there wasn't as many as there is now). In 2008 they played arenas and I believe they did in 2006 too. They've always played the Spektrum in Oslo for example. Agree that it's great that Liam is playing to such big capacities. Amsterdam will always be a huge gig. I was lucky enough to go to the AFAS Live gig in 2018 and it was great.

Anybody have any information on the times for tomorrow in Brussels?
Also this is my first time going to a gig in Brussels. Just moved here a few weeks ago... any tips or even any info on getting there and back from Etterbeek would be welcome!
Cheers and let's hope all goes well tomorrow!

What a gig! Very loud, his voice was really good. They skipped For What It's Worth because the piano was broken.
Highlights: Once, Stand by Me and Roll with It. Shockwave and Gas Panic! are terrible. Nice to hear Why Me? Why Not.

Did he actually say that at the Stockholm show, haha? I must have missed it. Haha yeah😁 was right after he left stage after the first encore, and people just stood waiting for more... "No silly billies in Stockholm. Problem is people here know your tricks" or something like that😁 Agree about the sound, it sounded clear and loud, no particular problems hearing voice and all instruments. Thought voice was really good as well, by the looks of it clearly the best of the three first ones. Haha, nice! 😁 I heard everything in that banter except those first three words then, 'cause I remember the rest.

Dunno about the beard... makes him look older than he is. Maybe it's cause of the smock (lovely coat, like). Absolutely hate the beard. Hope it doesn't last long.

Twisted Wheel 20.00 Liam Gallagher 21.00 I'd take a look on the venue's website, but pretty sure there's a tramway you can take to Forest National from Etterbeek. You can also take a train to Forest-East, from which its a 5 min walk or a train to Brussels-South from which you can take the tramway, it's a 15 minute drive or so. Welcome in Belgium btw.

Absolutely elated that Come Back To Me is still off the bench. My favourite from As You Were and rightfully standing it’s ground in the set.
Cannot wait for next weekend, my heart is together - my head is exploding!
Perché io? Perché no.

Cannot wait for next weekend, my heart is together - my head is exploding! Perché io? Perché no. The current setlist is near perfect for me. Mix of Oasis classics (Supersonic, Live Forever, ...), some rather "odd" Oasis ones (Columbia, Stand By Me, Gas Panic!) + my favorites from AYW and WMWN.

It’s very very good; for perfection I’d sub Morning Glory, Roll w’ It, Acquiesce for Gone and One of Us, but I guess these have a lot more going on so would need profoundly more effort, whereas the formers are shouty and can be performed with less thought or concentration, almost on autopilot, which I understand. Have an amazing night tonight !!

Amsterdam gig last night was easily one of the best and loudest gigs I’ve ever been too ! Huge difference from a American gig, I can see why Liam is not bothered when he comes to America now. I could barley hear liam during the oasis hits because everyone sang along so loud. Definitely gonna try to catch Liam in Europe every tour now! http://instagram.com/p/B8Tv-_7HvQR

Gigs just over. Loved it. Hearing stand by me, gas panic and acquiesce live was really special. No changes in the set. Liam asked to help him on the high notes on for what its worth. He was really gratefull to the fans the whole gig. Special night

I went to the show in Amsterdam and thought it was great. Not because of Liam but because of everything surrounding it. I've never seen Liam, Noel and/or Oasis play in the U.K. but for 2 hours it felt a little bit like a show on his hometurf. I said to a security guy he could speak Dutch to me and told me I was one of the few. Going by the crowd reactions it was clear he was right. It made for a very happy atmosphere as in the past 10 years the Dutch have changed from a fantastic crowd to one that mostly like to either sit/stand still or just talk through the gig. I stood in the back and had fun with the British while a lot of Dutch people were talking through every song. I've travelled the world seeing concerts everywhere and have started to despise Dutch crowds a lot.
Liam mentioned the talking as well. After the first songs it became clear the sound was off and his mic wasn't working properly. He addressed the crowd as well, saying something about it being a rock & roll gig and not a visit to your grannies? I had a hard time understanding what he says, not because of his accent but because of the poor sound. The Ziggo Dome offers great acoustics but tonight had to be the worst sound I've ever heard, clearly an issue with the mix as opposed to your usual poor acoustics.
Once Morning Glory had been played things changed a little. Liam found his way back in the show and with the volume going up fewer people were able to chat. The English around me sang loudly though, and I didn't mind. For the first time ever I experienced that football-fanatic atmosphere I'd only seen on DVD's. It's also obvious why a lot of English people who've never seen a show anywere else claim Liam has always been in top form - it's hard to say otherwise when you can't hear him at all. His vocals did become hoarse by the time the show was at an end. I had a great time, setlist was good, no Wonderwall, Gas Panic was immense and I felt the band sounded miles better compared to last time.
By the time the next album drops I reckon I'll fly to Manchester to see him play a show there. I've no interest in these festival performances but the difference between this performance and the one I saw several years ago was night in day. In 2018 the party was in the back only. This time, the party was everywhere.

There is a storm warning for today & tomorrow in germany. They already cancelled one bundesliga match today so stay safe folks if you plan to attend his concert tomorrow. My plan was to take the train to cologne but I think that they might cancel most of them.
