It's ok, I actually quite like the vibe of the song. My problem is the same problem I have with the other tunes somewhat, I don't think Noel suits singing these types of songs, his voice isn't interesting enough for me. Way to repetitive as well. Agree on both counts. Would enjoy as a shorter song with a better singer. Seriously, he should start giving b-sides he's never going to play live anyway to Ysee and go full revolutionary. |

I gave it a 7, only because it’s unfinished. If it had a second verse and middle 8, could’ve been a 8.5-9. I don’t think it even needs a traditional chorus. I love the groove. If we get work like this on the next album I’ll be very happy!

Just heard Evil FLower for the first time. I've enjoyed/loved EVERY new EP track so far except this. This felt like a b-side/remix from the WBTM sessions or something. In otherwords, awful and not to my liking. Fuck, I was so excited to hear it to, lol  |

As a b-side, I really enjoy it - a fun experiment with a different sound for him. But it is not a fully developed song obviously.

5.5/10.
It's a good idea that isn't fleshed out well enough and I hate that because there's something good in here, but it just doesn't get explored to its fullest potential, especially when Noel essentially repeats "Evil flower" for 2+ minutes without doing anything different.

2 EPs in and we’ve had 2 decent / good songs but nothing special (Rattling Rose, Dream Is All I Need) 1 passable song (Sail On) and 3 utterly forgettable / terrible songs (Bland Star Dancing, This Place Is Shit and Plain Flour)

5/10. The peak of mediocrity. Not bad, not good either. The comment section on youtube was very critical. It's important to note that I'm not using 5 as a bad rating, just as the medium between good and bad.
