Well, I absolutely love Worlds In Need and it's one of my favourites. I’m really glad so many people like it actually. I’d feel quite sad if there was a song that was just universally hated, especially if it was one of the self-penned ones. I still can’t enjoy the song. But I’m happy loads of you do. I like it because it's something a bit different and I'm always up for things like that. Unless of course it's some dance thing which I'm not a fan of and I think that's why I've never been a big fan of Who Built The Moon. I know it's not all dance music but it's not one of my favourite Gallagher albums.

Great to see sales are good ... CMYK is obviously a better album than WMWN so i'm glad sales are slightly better. Gives Liam a reason to keep going this direction.

Don't know if its already been said but I'm not a fan of releasing the live album at the same time as the studio album.
Surely the live album had a great shot at number one if its released on its own in a quiet week. Like the unplugged one did.
I know it doesn't matter but itd still be cool to say he has 5 solo number ones. Crazy to think that liam and noel could end up with as many solo number one albums as they did in Oasis by time they retire.

They had it in the can and put it out as a gift to the fans and a little extra sales boost. I'd guess they're holding the big fire for a Knebworth DVD/album.

listening to it again, still not sick of it. Love the way it flows from track to track. Agreed and I'm not sick of it yet and I'm still listening to it.

AYW will always be my favourite album I think, it's a 9/10 album for me. WMWN is also great, 8/10 the singles One of Us and Once are the best singles so far. CMYN has taken me a while to get my head around & digest it properly, I do like it a lot, but its my least favourite out of the three its a 7/10. It kills me that Nothing Nowhere wasn't included, if it was I'd push my rating upto 8/10 but oh well, we will get it soon enough.

For those of you who have heard LG's live performances @ the gigs this week, how would you compare the album versions of COYK to the live renditions so far?
- Everything's Electric - Better Days - More Power - C'mon You Know - Diamond in the Dark

Care to elaborate about the monkeys ? I'd disagree about the "Liam wouldn’t sing songs he didn’t want". EE was clearly a last minute addition and Liam didnt seem too pleased. Oh sure, he hates EE so much he's performed it live on television twice and it's at the center of his live show.
It's not a conspiracy theory though, just find the story weird. We both know that when a label drops a last minute song like that, when a record is done, it's not the artist who wants it. There was a first playback, and some suits thought it lacked a big stupid rock tune. They needed a single, they got it, everyone is happy and voilà. The story about Grohl and Kurstin suddenly finishing a song is for headlines. That's ok, Noel's been using that technique for 30 years.

What a stupid thing to say. Every single album Noel Gallagher has ever released has got to number 1. Nobody knows when it’s out, who else has albums out that week but you don’t think it will go to number 1. Ok then.

First week sales he will do 45-55k with the vast majority being just from pre sales before we've heard most the album. Record companies are very good at timing these things to make sure they don't clash with any other artist who sells that many. So he will easily make number one. If his compilation album made up of 95% songs we already have does, I'm not sure why you'd doubt a whole new album making it easily.

Are you sure that if he made a LP with songs from those 3 EPs, that it would go to number one? I am not that sure.
Is it enough that he is just Noel?
Do you think that it is the same that if the first two singles that we hear before album is out are We're On Our Way Now and Flying On The Ground or if the first two singles are Blue Moon Rising and This Is The Place?
Most of his fans, people who buy records, are Oasis fans and most of them are not very happy with Noel's new music.
I am not that sure and I think that now it will depend on how good are the songs we get to hear before album is released. Or maybe it wouldn't be at all about quality but about their style and genre.
Many people who were willing to give him a chance with his cosmic pop are probably not ready to give him a chance again.
I am not saying that they are right, I just have the feeling that's how it is now.

Meanwhile in Sweden: • Very few mainstream media outlets reviewed C'mon You Know. None of the big newspapers or tabloids did. • The only local newspaper review I did find gave it 2/5 • The album is not top 60 in overall sales • It is third in vinyl sales, after Def Leppard and Harry Styles'
Edit: #7 in physical sales.
