I love this song...who's with me?
Liams voice, the lyrics+message, the guitar at the end.

Why the heck wasn't it on the album!!!!! It's far better than the likes of Be Still. Wonder if it was cut for the rock/ballad balance. It's too good a song not to be included though. Pain for me since my music collection is vinyl records.

I love it. It's 100% Fountains Of Wayne. In the after chorus I hear Chris Collingwood's voice! That guitar in the end...

It's 100% Fountains Of Wayne. In the after chorus I hear Chris Collingwood's voice! In a quiet way FOW are among the top tier American bands of the last 15 years IMO a think cos they have the stigma of power pop and the novelty aspect of Stacys mother they dont get the credit they deserve. The best tune on the album is again, like evil eye on BE, a bonus track on this edition - , a killer track great melody and vocals, like other have pointed out the 'Isnt it a pity' Harrison licks (is it a pedal steel?) are absolutely glorious!!!

Totally agree with both sentences. The discography FOW is a rara avis in terms of quality. All albums were great. And Look Park debut was good too. The guitar in the album sounds a lot like Harrison (WMWN, Alright Now, Meadow, Misunderstood) and Isn't It A Pity is my favourite Beatle-solo song, so I'm loving the "tribute" here (in Meadow is even more obvious).

I could see this being on BE, totally. And unlike the tracks on that record, this was produced the right away, which elevates the song. My favorite of the bonus tracks.

Really nice track. Loving Liam’s coming of age in this one. Shows just how much mature is is and not just relying on brute energy

Why couldn't they make the words rhyme on the last bit of the chorus?!
"Misunderstood" doesn't rhyme with "enough" and it bugs the hell out of me.

It's a beautiful song but it is possibly a bit too Bobbie Williams.

^ Coincidentally I found out esterday there's a song by the Fat Dancer called mMisunderstood. I...I.. did not listen to it to compare and contrast.
A great Pete Townshend solo track shares the same title too meaning Blobby gets third place quite comfortably behind LG and PT

I suspect the real issue here is my opinion.
Had I been saying "Its Mega!" about every track on the album I doubt you'd intervene.
Anyhow, I won't repeat it.

One of my top 5 favourites too after day one. We’ll see how it fares.
