Everyone is free to care, or not, about lyrics, that's personal taste so it can be very important for some and that's totally normal. I love Holy Mountain, but I totally understand Eva, if you really don't like lyrics it can ruin a song, or part of it. We all have a different perception on things and to me it's really fair criticism.

I also think that it can depend on how you feel about the rest of the song. If we are blown away by the music and the global feeling of the song, we will probably be more tolerant whith the lyrics. But if the music isn't doing much for us, I think that we focus much more on the lyrics. That's why we sometimes don't care about lyrics too much and sometimes do care about it, it's contradictory but also makes sense ^^

If lyrics weren't important, we would all listen to instrumental music. It's like saying that dialogues aren't important in a movie, of course they're not always important, but good dialogues are always better than the opposite. ^^ The better your lyrics are, the better your song is, that's just pure logic to me
