Beautiful song. The vibe reminds of Rattling rose, but more evoking and nostalgic.

Whoever gave it 10 is clearly a "Noel can do no wrong" fan. Come on lol. Where else should those people go but here? PS: I gave it an 8. Really like it -- especially the "say buhbye, say buh-bye, say buh-byeeeeee" part

I even get people going for 9’s or 2’s but the 10’s and 1’s are just weird. You give a song a 10 you are saying it’s up there with the greatest songs in recording history and surely there ain’t that many of those. Same with the other end of the scale.

Very happy with this. Glad to see it getting the praise it deserves.
Feel like if this had been around back when we were waiting on HFB#1 the forum would have been mad fer it. I think the context of Noel in the past couple of years, particularly his attitude towards fans and Liam, has influenced how people feel about him, and as a result, his music.
Solid track. More of this and less of the fan bashing please, Noel!

Is it
Some of us needed some time?
or
Some of us need it sometimes?
A strong 7. Mostly because "I was talking in ma sleep! Secrets I was meant to keep!" is catchy as fuck and so is "tomorrow when the morning comes i hope that you can walk it like you talk it son" - is this actually a migos reference!? probably is
My Spotify is set to autoplay tracks. I had gone to turn this one off, but then I realised, it's quite fun. I like it more each time I hear it. To me, better than Oasis offerings like "High Horse Lady" and "Waiting for the Rapture" actually. If you took away the bad feeling around Noel and imagined this came out in 2005, I think I'd be so into it.

Solid 4. may be the worst of the bunch. It could grow on me, but I first listened to this like 10 hours ago and haven't listened to it again. Don't remember a thing about it. Don't really care to listen to it again, though I will force myself tomorrow to give it a few more "spins".

That's the tune Noel would say in gigs: "This one is for Oasis fans"
Like it, after first listening it's probably best Noel released in 2019. Also caught Smiths vibes - great stuff

Love the dreamy atomsphere, sounds like a lounge tune from outer space.

Nice tune, probably the best of the bunch so far. Sure at first it sounds meh, but give it five listen and it's a fantastic little tune.
8.5/10 for me.

A solid 7 good song, but unlike Rattling Rose(which is the golden standard for me so far in these EPs releases), there isnt a groove you can get lost into it. Stil, a lovely song, not something to think much about. Wouldnt like it as much if it was part of a new album, but it is welcome to stay in the This Is The Place EP.

5. Is all.
Too much brilliant music around and too little time in life to listen to this ever again. I gave it a chance; not for me.

The actual files seem so different, more going on. Anyway, that discussion was had on that thread and there was no evidence found by the tekkies on here. But I’m with you, streaming doesn’t have the same detail. Not important for 99% of music but for the songs you’re obsessed with only the best version will do.
