I'm not too worried for myself to be honest. Newscasters like to dramatize, like I did in my initial post a bit.
It's the loss of power that has always been the worst of it year after year. No risk of flooding for me thankfully.
Worried about my father though. He's staying on a barrier island right on the Cape! A small shift and he might be underwater.

Anyways, thank you all for your kind words. Anything could happen really with these storms. Got enough supplies to ride it out thankfully even if it does shift.
