I'm only listening on my phone at the mo so can't really hear the bass but I like it. First thought was stone Roses beautiful thing/Ian brown groove. Not 100% sure about that gospel bit at the end though.

I quite like the ending, it's different and good Beautiful vocals (liam and andrew) Same here, already in love with the heyeyeyeys. My favorite so far of the new Liam tracks. And I get what he meant that Wyatt sounds like a gospel choir. Thank you for the upload!

Great track, great chorus, love how the strings & choir come in and tbe guitar riff @2:13 is really catchy, simple but really helps drive the track from there. Solid 8 for me and on equal ground with Once

Wooow! it is a lively ballad with a fresh, intense and contagious rhythm. The chorus is fantastic! A song more commercial than the others but really surprising! We had never heard of a Liam like that. I love It!

Without a doubt the most radio friendly song so far. With the video wouldn't be surprised if it blows up. If your a musician or song writer it's an average song with no great song structure or musically no spectacular.. but for the average radio listener it's very catchy ... I like the nostalgia of it. Good song 7/10

It's probably my favorite of the 4. Catchy and a great groove. Probably a little too simple, while the "live forever" line sounds cringey and very coporate/focus grouped, but overall it's the loosest, easies, and most "natural" (for lack of a better term) of the tracks.

I can see why they picked this to be the proper single. It's catchy, modern, and just flows great. Can't wait to hear the higher quality version, but kudos again to you, Sifter!

One of Us >>>>>>> Once >> Shockwave >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The River
Also, just came to me what the strings sound like. They're very early 70s soul: Curtis Mayfield/Temptations.

It’s a beautiful tune. Great melody and lyrics. Love the chorus and strings. Very fresh production and a little bit different for Liam. Not quite sure yet if it should be a single, but it’s definitely a solid album track. A few more listens might change my mind though.
It reminds me a little bit of Chinatown, but bigger. The shuffling acoustic and percussion (dare I say it) gives me a bit of a Broken Arrow/Part of the Queue vibe. I also love that you can hear the bongos towards the middle!
I’m in Australia, so looking forward to getting the HQ version for myself in an hour or so!

Definitely a Miike Snow vibe going on here. Groovy, fun and catchy. Like the gospel ending as well: "It’s a shame you thought you’d changed my friend, but you were always one of us". Pretty amazing if Wyatt in fact have done the gospel bit on his own.
