OMG! Sad Song sounds amazing! Liam's vocals give that tune a totally different vibe. Love it.
Thank you very much for sharing! Made my day!

I need a blu ray, cd and vinyl of this gig. NOW. I also hope they release a multi-channel blu ray version. Can't wait to hear this on a proper stereo system with his vocals spreading across the whole room!

Anyway, I can't believe the most important question hasn't been asked yet. For the people who were there, was the Jedi lyric in Why Me? Why Not as bad as it sounds? 😂

It's hard to say if it sounds good or not because of the audience, but i have a feeling that's the best he sounded for a fuckin while, my god!
has our fellow mate who posted the links give his opinion on the gig yet?

I hope the brainiacs at MTV don't edit Sad Song out of the broadcast I have a really bad feeling they will, together with Stand By Me.

This would be more a battle to scrape into the top 40 rather than 1 and 2 admittedly. But liam would win and it'd be funny to watch the reactions.

No chance it would get a bluray release though, he'd have to remove all Oasis tunes.

Only got around to listen to the Sad Song clip tonight. Must say it does sound fucking mega, and i can hear his voice more here than on the Stand By Me clip, and i like what i hear. Can't wait for September so we can hear the full thing, although i have a feeling that, at the very least, Sad Song will be cut.

They’d be mad not to give this a wider release outside of the television broadcast. That’s a proper set list right there - Cast No Shadow in an acoustic environment and Sad Song by Liam? What gold dust.
What’s the problem with Natural Mystic though!? It’s an original cover and not something predictable like yet another Beatles tune. Nice to see Marley in the hands of Liam though and not being culturally appropriated by middle class Crouch End dinner parties.

I’m not usually one to speak in absolutes, but Natural Mystic is an undeniably great song.

That would be a shame - same as with the Union Chapel gig last December. This are rare gigs that need a proper release!

Depends. They def cut down Nirvana for US TV. The album got the full deal. I know Listen Up and Whatever didn't air in America for Oasis either. Not sure the UK.

I believe Oasis unplugged had 10 songs (12 with Listen Up and Whatever) - Liam Unplugged had 15 songs according to the setlist picture. Definitely too long for a TV broadcast in my opinion.
