While the description below this video might partly be a bit pathetic, is it actually not quite accurate in some ways? I have seen similar insults by others members without them becoming banned, especially when these members generally just say what most people on this forum want to hear. If allowed, I can post screenshots of examples.
Why not lift this ban?

Edit: I know I am pathetic posting this video. But as a hardcore fan since 1994, I want access to information about Liam’s gigs and music. I guess it was a very bad idea to care about Liam’s career on a Oasis forum, and not particularly nice to post an insult similar to to what other users get away with without leading to any punishment or ban (in my case, the insult was a reaction to bad behaviour from another user, in contrast to many insults by other users). If the ban is lifted, I promise I will not post any comments on the forum, unless they are 100% neutral. Furthermore, if somebody insults me, I will act like Jesus Christ and pretend it did not happen. Otherwise, the administrator might easily ban me again. Then I’ll keep the videos online, and live4ever.proboards will continue to be a safe space devoid of criticism. Deal?
Why not accept the deal? I see no reason why...

I will not post more about this stuff but there has been an edit to the video description of the ”ban” video by endstation (search for the channel endstation on youtube and see his/her latest upload:

not a real tragedy, his videos = audios that obviously he downloaded from here or other resources, it doesn't make his channel so unique. C'mon, let's forget this man

yes, you definitely convinced me with that youtube description  we don't have time to babysit you. you come to the forum every two years or so when there's a new Liam release and start spreading hate in every thread with one or two random "normal" comments to prentend. the very definition of a troll. not to mention how you repeatedly insulted other members and used the word retarded. you did the same with your other account "august". I'm sure people remember. we gave you another chance and you blew it again. don't pretend like you care about Liam's popularity or voice or whatever. Come on, this poll is absolutely ridiculous. Why? We have heard at least the last verse, the chorus and the ending of the song. Do you think that the rest of the song will sound completely different? The clip is about 1:20 or something like that (I’m here ignoring the clip of the ”demo” version that seems to include also the first verse and chorus). I don’t think it’s ridiculous to have a poll based on the clip. Why the negative attitude, mate? |

Giving a 10 for a song which you had listen less than 50% is offensive. Don't put your expectations too high, this song looks amazing but remember, we're talking about Liam Gallagher. I expect Once to be at the same level as Paper Crown and For What It's Worth, but at this moment I'll give a decent 8. Ok. I don’t really agree with you. I also wrote very clearly that the grades are based on what we have heard so far and what we think it will sound like... Nowhere did I write ”rate if you think the song is good”... in any case, I think it’s not very probably that the rest of the song sounds very different I also think what we’ve heard from once (almost half the song) is 10 times better than the generic and dull FWIW.. but that’s just my opinion |
