Tell them about the air studios live versions and how theyre not on spotify and then say whos laughing now MOFOs Or the 15 second “show me your love” clip I’ve had on my iPod since summer 2005. You can’t buy that. You can’t stream that. You live that shit. Yeah mate, BUT it doesn't BELONG to them. I have 100's of boots etc. that cant be streamed for the most part, plus complete volumes of artists I enjoy organized the way I like 'em - hi res cover art, liner & session notes etc. backed up 3x over plus my physical collection of LP's & CD's. These are things that can be left behind and enjoyed. Music isn't a transitory or disposable thing for me...so hopefully it won't come down to ''Hey what was that bell end's password?"

I’ve got something like 300 CDs and 100+ DVDs in storage. I don’t know what to do. Neither one of my cars have CD players anymore. I’ve got a record player in the living room minus a CD player. Those CDs are just relics now.

In terms of the hype train for the song.
For the people who haven't listened, kudos. You are strong. I will say though, it likely won't live up to the hype. Why? Not because it is bad. It sounds great. It sounds like it will be a universally-liked song ala Bold.
But on a forum like this, when you read the hype, it's easy for the poster to go overboard and for the reader's imagination to then go overboard. All of that creates an unrealistic expectation. And I mean if we had that for simple BE songs being the best thing since sliced bread, well for a song that sounds as good as this, I think the expectations will be very unrealistic.
For the rest of us who have listened. I'd be surprised if there's much we haven't uncovered yet. If there is, bring it on. If not, we've likely heard the majority of the song and the best of the song. It may even be a bit of a letdown upon release if that's the case. I do hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not, I won't be disappointed, what we've heard is awesome.
For some, it will be the best post-BHN Gallagher related song For some it will be Liam's best song ever For some it will be Liam's best solo song For some it will be one of Liam's best, but not his best For some it will be meh For some it will be the same shite they've grown accustomed to since BHN
It all depends on the listener and their tastes, and to what esteem they hold Liam's music. That being said, this one sounds fucking top notch.

Yeah, i just hope it is that many to look forward to by release. They did an amazing job of making sure it didnt leak until a couple of days before last time but ironically we had heard the vast majority of the album already, either live or through the many singles. I think it was only Paper Crown and Come Back To Me that we hadn't heard, plus the bonus tracks. I’ve found the whole concept of album leaks has changed. After talking to younger co-workers (ages 24-30) they don’t care about leaks because that means mp3s, downloading, uploading, syncing, etc. All they want to do is stream music via WiFi. Just rent it. I got laughed at for having 4,000+ songs on my iPhone. They said what’s the point. Spotify’s gives them “a million” in their pocket. I’m a dinosaur at 37. I'm 26 and i hate Spotify. Still only do all the stuff that makes you "a dinosaur." I think it really depends on the market demographic

That's their attitude - they simply don't want a collection of their own personally chosen songs. If it's not on Spotify it's not worth listening to. And Spotify will even tell them what to listen to if they can't be bothered to make their own playlists.

I know you all will hate me after this.
I think "Once" could be way better then FWIW (I love It).
If the song will have right management (as Im outta time, for example) I think could change Liam Gallagher post Oasis life.
Is the first song Liam talk of Oasis days, and could run nostalgic way all the fans in the world have now about the big O's.

Tbf, all Oasis music was massively produced (except maybe a few b-sides) with tons of vocal effects and crazy mixing (the mixing almost ruined some Oasis songs entirely, e.g. Love Like A Bomb, what the actual effing hell is that mix all about??)

Yes, absolutely. Hung in A Bad Place... dreadful song/horrible mixing, Force of Nature, Let There Be Love with a disrespectful copy paste of liam best choruses... The gorgeous mixed Roll it Over also has Copy Paste of Liam choruses... but, the main difference, it is well done. 2016-17 with the technologies we have today, totally unacceptable work they did with FWIW. When you find the errors you can't go away from them... nevermore. Good song, anyway...

Try an external DVD or Blu-Ray drive - just plugs into the USB port on your laptop and you can use it to rip any of the CDs, DVDs or BRs that you have stashed away.

One thing thats really griped on me post Oasis is that kind of squeak we get from Liam on high notes. It's notes he could easily hit if he did them enough times but it just sounds like they've pitched it higher or even left it a bit flat. Thought it as soon as i first heard the previews for DGSS. It was almost like no one dared tell him to redo certain lines now. For Anyone, Beat Goes On etc are the bext examples of it. And its still very evident on FWIW and Universal Gleam.

Both Beady Eye albums were his worst vocal performances in my opinion. His voice was too nasal, his growl was completely gone. As You Were was a huge improvement in that regard, I still hope that his growl will be more apparent in his new album. In his live performances you often hear his raspy voice which would be perfect for his studio recordings. Somehow it appears to me that his studio recordings sound too clean and nasal instead of being more rough and raspy.
I hope you guys know what I mean, its hard to explain. Nevertheless im extremely hyped for Once. I think it will be his best post-oasis song, maybe even his best song ever.

Ok, since I've been out of the loop for a while, I have a question for all y'all praising Once based off that snippet you've heard. Is it as-good-a-song-as-Liam-should-be-putting-out-these-days good, As You Were good, or 90s Oasis good? Expecting people to say the first one, hoping for the last one...
