A few months ago I was messing around with some of the isolated tracks available online and started creating mashups of Oasis, NG and LG songs just for fun. Mash-ups aren't my thing but these are pretty well made. Is it possible for you to mix Liam vocals in to the demo version of The Hindu Times? I'd snog you if you could do that.

I did this version. Kept Noel's vocals (even if the lyrics dont match up) cause when I tried to remove them, the backing track lost a bit of power. |

Do you reckon you could put the verses of Let there be Love with the chorus of Stop Crying Your Heart Out somehow? Let there be Love has great verses but a nothing-chorus, and SCYHO has a big chorus with nothing-verses.

Would it be possible to do some sort of light-rethinks for Be Here Now using whatever magic you do to create these? For instance, mashing the rethink strings into the original D'You Know What I Mean? or adding Noel's "yeah, nobody knows..." from the acoustic version of Stand By Me into the original? I've tried to do these things myself in the past but I have no talent for it haha.
I agree that Greedy Soul / The Mexican is definitely a good mash-up. Gives Greedy Soul more guitars and The Mexican a better melody.

Gives Greedy Soul more guitars and The Mexican a better melody. Yep, I have the rethink instrumental (used it to create a mashup with Wonderwall), so adding the strings to the original can be done. I'd have to play a little bit with the dynamics cause the original is a wall of guitars and noise. Stand By Me can also be done (if it's just adding the "nobody knows" part haha) I have done a similar thing (light re-thinks) with Lock All The Doors (Liam joining in the chorus), Live Forever, DYer Wanna be a Spaceman and Hindu Times (both Liam and Noel sharing vocals). I wouldnt say Im doing magic haha. Just playing around with some instrumental and isolated vocal tracks available online, mixing the ones I think theyd go well together. It's trial and error for the most part |

For What It's Worth/Carry Us All? Warner blocked my video when I used Greedy Soul. Went to Youtube, "deleted" the track to remove the copyright claim, and don't know what happened with the algorithm but the song is still there and the claim is now gone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm trying to avoid tracks from 'As You Were' cause of that... |
