I’m guessing Noel plays around 12 songs. I figure Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back In Anger are locks. Maybe All You Need Is Love to close it. Outside of those I hope he plays the following: Black Star Dancing This Is The Place In The Heat of The Moment Fort Knox Holy Mountain It’s A Beautiful World She Taught Me How To Fly Dead In The Water AKA...What A Life! I reckon the only one you'll get let down on there is In The Heat Of The Moment (if his recent tours over here are anything to go by), though I hope he plays it as it's a great version! 1. Going to the show in Camden tonight. Anybody know stage times for when Noel actually starts? I know venues sometimes make the information public but I haven’t been able to find anything for tonight. Thanks if anyone can help

I am at the show tonight too. Can't wait! According to Twitter the doors open at 6 and AFI start at 7. So I dunno if that means Noel goes on at 8 or sooner. AFI probably plays 30 mins and that would leave 30 for any additional setup, tuning, and volume/mix checks. I wouldn't be surprised if Noel takes the stage shortly before 8 though. In any event I've tweeted at BB&T, hopefully they respond.

Decided to upgrade to pit seats for tonight. Ironically they were cheaper than buying them on Ticketmaster months ago and getting section 200. Tits out!

If anyone is interested, during the Radio X interview, Noel talks a little about the Pumpkins. He said they have 2 good songs; Tonight Tonight and 1979. Matt asks him about Disarm and he says he hasnt heard that one. Today and Bullet with Butterfly Wings are also good songs. One funny part was Noel saying, "Billay Billay" in a American accent. take noel's opinion with a grain of salt. billy corgan is one of the top three songwriters from the 90's, maybe top 2. if corgan would of blown his head off in the 90's his bald head would be all over posters and tshirts like cobain. noel also said the beach boys were barber shop quartet music. yet he thinks stormzy is brilliant. so he really doesn't know shit. there is a who's who of music legends that say brian Wilson is on par with the best composers ever. he used to shit out genius records in between nervous breakdowns and being spaced out of his mind. LOL, dream again, kid... top 2 songwriter :-D kurt was shitting all over him with his music... so did cornell, cantrell, andy wood, lanegan, pretty much anyone from the seattle scene was a better songwriter :-) |
