So this has just dawned on me after many many years.
In Irish slang, Gas = funny, example: "he's a Gas mann".
Equally,
In Irish slang, panic = funny, example: "that lad's a panic".
Not sure if that decodes anything.
May be worth mentioning I've drank a bottle of wine. (and it's only half seven)
