Bsides included, what are your favourite oasis single releases?
For me, I'd have to go with Some might say just for sheer song quality. What a madman noel must have been to throw out talk tonight, acquiesce and headshrinker. I also think with aatw you get your moneys worth with 23 minuites of headache inducing tuneage and Cigs and alc cause I think the bird playing guitar is hot on the cover and I am the walrus is a cracking cover.

Some Might Say, Wonderwall, and Don't Look Back in Anger.
Stop Crying Your Heart Out's release deserves a nod too.
On each of the four, the A-side is stellar and the B-sides are quality too. I still think they should've done a SMS/Acquiesce double A-side but that's just me.

Cigarettes and Alcohol and Some Might Say, for sure. After that, I hesitate between DLBIA and Whatever.

Falling down and Supersonic since they were the first and last singles. (Also Falling down is my fav oasis tune) And I would pick Whatever, not only because it's a great song, but because of the b-sides.

The obvious ones first: SMS, Whatever, C&A
But I also have a soft spot for...
Stand by me (works great as an EP, tracks fade nicely into one another).
SCYHO (stronger all around latter day single)
Shakermaker (great early package of songs, live the colours)
I'm outta time (Japanese EP), which features the album version, demo version, Twiggy remix, TBWTL fearless version and a less exciting but still inoffensive Neon version of TBWTL. I think I'm right about that tracklisting.
The Japanese EP of Falling Down is also worth getting, it's got the only CD release of the Amorphous Androgynous remix of Falling Down. Plus all the different officially released remixes.

Cigarettes & Alcohol Some Might Say Don't Look Back In Anger
Those 3 are sheer perfection.
Wonderwall is amazing but Swamp Song brings it down a bit.
Whatever is also amazing just for Whatever and HTWA alone, but I've never been a massive fan of IGTBF and Slide Away as the 4th track brings it down for me.
It's a great shame that after Heathen Chemistry they didn't really offer much B-sides wise, the less said about DOYS the better.

I donât understand the love for the DLBIA single,
Itâs decent but it basically contains 2 covers and a good tune in Underneath the Sky. I think 6/7 of their singles are stronger
