Putting this in the Oasis section for impartiality’s sake.
The best AYW vs. The best WBTM.
Tough one, but TMWBTM edges it for me. But Liam gives Noel a serious run for his money innit.

The Man Who Built The Moon, definitely. and the best from As You Were is Bold. So me, Gem Archer's cousin and Bob Lazar were chatting at Spacefest about this very subject. Do you know about Spacefest? It's a convention for those interested in Human or Robotic space exploration. We got onto the subject of Who Built The Moon. Bob, being Bob, didn't realise we were talking about the album or track y'see and started talking about alien structures on the moon, factories and towers specifically. You see, it has been inhabited by Aliens for years they reckon. Strange looking aliens too, with a cock as fat as a can of Mackeson Stout, but then the conversation turned towards the commercialisation of the moon in the future. Eventually we could see concerts on the moon. Gem's cousin obviously hilariously suggested that Noel should be the man to do it first, due to his album name. Plus we figured by the time it's possible for man to be entertaining on the moon, Pink Floyd members will probably be brown bread, thus ruling out the Dark Side Of The Moon connection. Lazar said this might all be very possible in theory, but the reality is that it may never happen because we would not be able to explain the pre-existing structures on the moon without admitting the truth about Aliens. But you have to say, if Noel was to become the first artist to play on the moon, as Gem's cousin Greg had jokingly quipped in his own funny way, he may very well kickstart the process of finding out the truth of who did actually build the moon, thus answering his own question. It'd round the album off nicely.

The Man Who Built The Moon undoubtedly.
Oasis post-90s seemed to really lack ‘epic’ tunes with the kitchen sink thrown at it. The Man Who Built The Moon was the first time ever in my time as an Oasis fan that I felt Noel had finally delivered an epic song after so long.

Really? I’ve all I need encapsulates everything I loved about oasis. Man who built the moon does not. Simple

I actually remember listening to TMWBTM whilst brushing my teeth the morning the album leaked and just laughing like an idiot. Holmes' finest production on the record, it sounds absolutely demented.

TMWBTM sounds to me like Muse Lite and that’s no good thing.

TMWBTM sounds to me like Muse Lite and that’s no good thing. I guess I can see the comparison, but TMWBTM has a menace and mystery to it that Muse have never achieved.

Really? I’ve all I need encapsulates everything I loved about oasis. Man who built the moon does not. Simple All I Need is a good song, no doubt about it, but "encapsulates everything I loved about oasis"... Well obviously we have way different tastes and interpretations about Oasis's music. All I Need, for me, is in the group of songs like Roll with It, Bring It On Down, My Big Mouth... TMWBTM is in the group of Wonderwall, Live Forever, Slide Away, DLBIA... Anyway, it is good that there's so many good songs to choose.

The Man Who Built The Moon, but only just. It is one of the only two songs on WBTM to beat I've All I Need. They are both great songs
