DBTT is actually my least favourite album. I have good memories attached to it, saw them in Newcastle that year ( Noel and Liam linked arms during Songbird and danced around in a circle) and I did love it at the time but find it a hard listen niw. These days the only songs I think are worthwhile are TUTS, IOBI and LTBL. The rest is so lifeless sounding and amateur in terms of songwriting. The biggest mistake was only having 1.5 Noel written songs for Liam to sing.

Fucking shit. Andy Bell at his absolute worst. Fuck it off in the bin. Next. I stick up for Andy more than most, but I agree with this. One of the songs on DGSS was equally vomitous, I think it had dream in the title as well, can't remember exactly what it's called. I think Andy was a very good bass player for Oasis though. Kill For a Dream? Wind Up Dream? They certainly were a fucking wind up. I’d rather clamp my balls in a vice than listen to Gem and Andy’s so called songs.

Many tracks sound like they are from demo takes or guide tracks.

Keep The Dream Alive AND A Bell Will Ring suck hard. Just terrible songs from a couple of blokes who had no right to be writing songs, let alone in Oasis. Two prime examples on one album as to how just utterly useless and downright embarrassing the two sidemen were. Looking back on it, its insane they were even allowed to write songs for the band. Oasis was always Noel's songs. If Liam wanted to chip one or two in, I could get over that, but other guys, other guys who weren't even in the band at first? Not having it!

In November 2000 when Noel was saying he wanted Gem and Andy to write songs for LP#5 I was in shock. Maybe Andy. Not Gem. Was this Oasis or a god damn coffee house poetry open mic night?

As far as I’m concerned, if the song doesn’t have Gallagher in the songwriting credits, then it’s not an Oasis song.

I have a weird soft spot for KTDA lol.
I'm not 100% sure why.
Just for the chorus really and the guitar bit after is alright i guess.

If KTDA were a b-side in the BHN era, people would rave about it. Just saying.

Don't Believe The Truth is an overrated turd. The "best" songs aren't good IMHO.

I like it, what exactly is so bad about it? The production is fucking awful but the song itself is fine, the chorus should of soared but was done all wrong in the studio, had the potential. The bass outro is one of my favourite bits on DBTT.
Remember at the time it was rumoured to be the 4th single after Let There Be Love.

Here's a 4:27 edit of it, maybe it flows better for some of you. instaud.io/32tx

We've already wasted far too many words on this tune.
