I liked Supersonic, but was disappointed, with the fact that the movie covered only the early years of Oasis, I'd love to watch part 2. focused on the 2000s era. We can only dream..

Supersonic is a celebration.
A sequel would be a funeral.

Only thing potentially is the hype of BHN but then you'd have to mention the backlash. Which brings the theme of the doc down.
Dunno why you'd wanna include the Noughties era lol.
The truth is that was just a band who were one of many, nobodies in the grand scheme of things.

Whilst i don’t think it’ll happen I don’t think a sequel would necessarily have to be 00’s focused. There’s still loads of 90’s stuff left, albeit pretty shit and chaotic stuff.
MTV unplugged, Recording of Be Here Now, the Hype and release of Be Here Now, the tour, Noel’s coming off drugs, writing of Sotsog and Bonehead and guigs leaving
Depressing watch but would be interesting

I’d be disappointed with a sequel, and I would have been disappointed if they’d extended Supersonic and continued where they ended the film.
It’s not needed. All that stories of the formation, their upbringing, hedonism and all those fantastic songs and gigs followed by kings of beige Gem and Andy droning on? What a spectacular comedown.

Matt Whitecross has done a great job. Making a documentary about 5 lads from Manchester, from scratch to top of the world in just 3 years time. The documentary should leave as it is, no vol. 2 is needed. Oasis were and will always be Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Guigsy and Tony (and Alan) to me. They were a band, not post 2000 which they became a brand.
