If Record Machine were released on either DBTT, DOYS, or a hypothetical eighth album, and given some proper Oasis magic devoted to it, what would be the potential of this track?
An absolute classic, if you ask me. Desperately need that version that Noel claims exists with Liam on vocals, and a couple crazy guitar solos! Missed a real trick with this one, Noel.

Only with Liam on vocals would it have been class.
With Noel it's good but still a bit plodding I think.

Would have been a great penultimate track to DOYS before Soldier On. The problem is the song sounds very much like a DBTT demo - which fits the song fine but would sound very out of place on DOYS. The HFB version would fit much better but it's also far inferior.
I'd say somewhere between Oasis classic and good song. A couple chorus lines are cringeworthy but the solo and middle bit after is one of my favourites.
