I can only speak from a personal point of view, but no I don't think it was. There were well documented problems such as long queues which let's be honest if you are putting 125,000 people in a field in Hertfordshire it is really a given. The sound delays and such issues as you got further back were undoubtedly there but it wasn't as if we were watching The Stone Roses Reading 1996 set in terms of the actual music. The latter incidentally ranks as one of the worst performances I have ever seen IMO and there is no way Oasis were anything like that even at their worst shows.

The other gripes about delays in travelling and how expensive it was inside the actual show for food, drink, etc. to me came from people who attended it as an Oasis gig, but had obviously ever been to a festival before The day itself was a great one for me in terms of friends, support bands and of course Oasis themselves.

Was it Oasis best gig performance wise or technically? Probably not. Was it a good gig all things considered? Yes, and above all else it was Oasis playing their own historical gig to over four times the number of people who attended Spike Island and doing it two nights running, so all things considered it certainly wasn't a bad show
