Like the Oasis Knebworth concerts that took place over two nights in August 1996?

My English friend who lives in Manchester (and he's been an Oasis fan since 1994) went to see them at Knebworth in 1996.

I also know some people who went to Knebworth... It's just not useful information, is it? He asked if people on the forum went to Knebworth. I imagine most people on this forum know someone who went to Knebworth.
Also, being unaware of the magic of Tommy Wiseau should be a criminal offence. Internationally. Like a war crime.

I went to Knebworth.
...in 2012, to see RHCP. It was great.
My Dad's ex-girlfriend went in 1996 though, when I asked her about it she said "well we weren't allowed to take our own booze in, so we just finished it all at the gate. I can't remember much after that"

He is a member of this forum although he hasn't posted for a few years by beeing busy with family and life. I can't remember if he only went one night or both nights, but he told me that seeing "Supersonic" starting with Knebworth footage brought him a great memory back. It's a great pleasure to hear his stories and experience beeing witnessed of Oasis in 1994 - 1997. He's a great friend of mine.

I went on the Saturday night but I'm sure I'm not the only one on here.
My main memory is me and my mates going ballistic for Columbia and everyone around us shrugging their shoulders not knowing what it was! I swear there were people there who didn't even own Definitely Maybe!
Earls Court and Maine Road were much better.

Knebworth showed the magnitude of Oasis, but Maine Road showed the greatness of them.

Still having a dodgy time typing (and being a lazy twat, obviously ) so the below is my previous thoughts on the subject with a link for context As for the parking i had a unique experience for Knebworth re: driving with the legendary mossy as explained on this POST * * This linked post possibly contains a Fast Show sketch rather than facts

My friend from uni got me a ticket but couldn't get hold of me to tell me - this was pre-mobile phones.
Plus I'd been to Maine Road a few months earlier so wasn't that bothered. It also felt like everyone had jumped on the bandwagon by Knebworth and a lot of casual fans were going which put me off a bit.
Still, wish I'd have gone as it was Oasis' peak moment.

To be fair, AKA... What a CLOWN gives his fair share of abuse to numerous forum members. God bless. How many would you call "numerous"? I pick my targets very selectively tbh. I've seen you stalk spaneli and have a shot at mimmihopps....neither of them bother me or play into Noël vs. Líam bullshit like you.....what are 12 years old? Listen to the music and party......don't be concerned about their personal lives and what they say..... Besides, Oasis/Noël/Líam haven't been relevant to music for 20 years......I'm guessing all music bands forums are like this one, though - like on the fucking Pearl Jam forum they're still celebrated like Ten just came out and everything they release is the best thing ever. Thanks.
